    Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION


    Field of the Invention



    [0001] The present invention relates to the field of household appliances, and in particular, to a range hood and a control method thereof.

    Related Art



    [0002] Some range hoods currently on the market use small-size TFT display screens to display relevant information, however, as the household appliances show an intelligent development trend, and have more and more functions, while the area of the TFT display interface of the range hood is relatively limited, to display various functions and state parameters on a small area inevitably renders that displayed texts and graphics cannot be too large, and it is very inconvenient for users to view these texts and parameters while cooking. Especially some important parameters or alarms cannot be prominently displayed, and users may overlook such important information, which brings about serious consequences. Besides, some display interfaces may not be easily integrated into the overall design of the range hood, so that the appearance of the range hood is not congruous enough.

    [0003] In addition, when a user selects boil or stew or other cooking manners for cooking, he does not need to take a long time to stay near the stove or in the kitchen, but the existing range hood has no corresponding real-time monitoring and long-distance prompting functions, the user cannot grasp the time of leaving well, which easily causes that water in the cooking vessel is evaporated and the food is burnt, or even causes a fire. In order to avoid occurrence of such situations, the user needs to go near the stove to view the state in the cooking vessel every little while, which is very troublesome.

    [0005] WO 2003/098116 A1 discloses a range hood device having extended functions. The range hood comprises a gas sensor, which detects gases and vapor that rise or are sucked into a range hood. The detection signal of the sensor is evaluated in a control unit. The control unit controls the ventilation unit based on the measured value by the sensor. According to one embodiment the gas sensor also serves to control a warning system of the range hood besides controlling the ventilation speed. Thus, the range hood comprises for example an alert buzzer or an alert light, in order to indicate an upcoming danger acoustically or optically.

    [0006] In CN 2844730 Y a cooker hood with automatic air-exchanging function when gas is leaking is disclosed. A gas detection device provides an electronic nose which detects the gas concentration in the air that is over the standard value. Due to the signal provided by the nose to the wireless receiving module, which is attached to the range hood, a green light-emitting diode is turned on, indicating the standby mode of the range hood. When the electronic nose detects gas concentrations in the air that are exceeding the threshold from the control set, a flashing red light-emitting diode and a buzzer tweet are turned on.

    [0007] Further, CN 2139232 Y discloses a fully automatic circuit apparatus for a fume extractor. The fume extractor comprises a reference voltage generator, a gas sensor, a comparator circuit, a valve control circuit and a sound alarm circuit which are connected. When the gas concentration in the air rises to 2000 PPM the utility model starts a motor to exhaust the gas, simultaneously sound and light alarm are provided. When the gas concentration reduces below 2000 PPM, a green lamp is lighted, the motor stops and a safety valve is opened to cut off the gas supply.

    [0008] WO 2009/004332 A2 discloses an air control system and method. According to one embodiment sensors for unpleasant or dangerous gases are incorporated in the system and when the respective detected level exceeds the maximum permitted to comply with health and safety regulations or guidelines, the speed of the extract fan is increased to maximum, the fault is shown on the display of the display processor and an audio alarm is sounded. A sensor processor monitors the inputs from gas sensors communicating information over the network to the display processor for controlling the extract fan, supply fan and safety equipment (alarms, fire suppression etc.). If the air extract flow rate falls below a predetermined safe threshold level, the gas isolation system is signaled, a fault indicator (e.g. an LED) is illuminated, the gas isolation valve is closed to shut off the gas supply to the cooking appliance.

According to one embodiment a carbon monoxide sensor is incorporated into a range hood and continuously monitors the level of CO in the cooking area. A visual indicator (e.g. message on LED display) is enabled to alert the resident that the vent fan is operating to improve indoor air quality due to the detected CO condition.

    [0010] In US 2005/0224069 a system and method for managing air from a cooktop is disclosed. The kitchen ventilating system includes a sensor for detecting a chemical composition over an active zone of a cooktop. A control circuitry is coupled to the sensor, to an air moving device and to an air flow direction control device for regulating operation of the air moving device and a position of the air flow direction control device based upon signals from the sensor. Further, the kitchen ventilation system comprises a display system and user inputs. The display system has an air quality sensitivity LED or display to display the information about the quality of the air above cooktop as sensed by the sensor.

This telescoping downdraft ventilator preferably also has better efficacy in removing contaminated air and more precise control of its other functions. Lighting is provided thus improving visibility of items on a work surface. According to one embodiment a ventilator lighting system preferably consists of a light and a light switch. At least one light is able to be bent at different angles.

    [0012] Furthermore, EP 0 511 582 A1 discloses a device for detecting atmospheric impurities. The device has a detector with a threshold adjuster for detecting the presence of gaseous impurities in the ambient atmosphere, which emit variable control signals. The detector is connected to analogue instruments for displaying the level of the impurities represented by the variable control signals, and the threshold adjuster is connected to an alarm actuator for selectively or simultaneously controlling an acoustic alarm, a visual alarm, a solenoid valve for closing gas ducts and/or a relay for disactivating power lines.

    [0013] EP 1 421 893 A1 discloses a household appliance which can be installed into a piece of furniture. The household appliance has a display device. The household appliance in particular is a dishwasher, has one optical display unit and / or at least one operating unit for displaying and / or controlling at least one operating state of the household appliance by means of at least one light beam, at least one means which is associated with the display unit and / or is arranged on the housing and / or in or on a front door of the domestic appliance. The visual display and / or the triggering of the operating unit takes place outside the domestic appliance.

    SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION



    [0015] An objective of the present invention is to provide a new range hood having gas concentrations indication means with respect to the above at least one technical problem.

    [0016] The present invention provides a range with the features of claim 6, and including gas detection means for detecting gas concentrations, and further includes: gas indication means and control means, wherein the control means is used for controlling the gas indication means to display corresponding colors and/or brightness and/or images according to gas concentrations information detected by the gas detection means. In this way, users can know current gas concentrations by observing the colors and/or brightness and/or images displayed by the gas indication means, to timely take measures to prevent occurrence of fire accidents. Further, the users can infer the state of cooking according to the current gas concentrations, without going near the stove to view every little while, which brings convenience to cooking of the users and is more humane. Meanwhile, the gas indication means also plays a decoration role, and the changed colors and/or brightness and/or images can bring about a unique visual effect, to avoid the dull feeling brought about by common kitchen appliances.

    [0017] According to the present invention, in order to reflect the cooking state directly that the gas concentrations information is associated with the cooking state, and the gas indication means indicates a corresponding cooking state by displaying colors and/or brightness and/or images.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS



    [0031] To make the objectives, structures, features and functions of the present invention further understood, detailed descriptions are given below with reference to embodiments.

    [0032] The cooking process may generate a certain amount of flue gas, gas concentrations generated in different cooking states generally are different, for example, in the process of boiling water, the amount of steam generated when water is heated to 80°C is obviously different from that generated after the water is heated to be boiling, and thus, the present invention sends corresponding prompt information to users by detecting gas concentrations during the cooking. It should be noted that, the gas mentioned in the present invention refers to oil fume, water vapor, etc. Referring to FIG. 1, FIG. 1 is a range hood according to an embodiment of the present invention, a range hood 1 of the present invention includes gas detection means 10, gas indication means 20 and control means (not shown). The gas detection means 10 is used for detecting gas concentrations, and the control means is used for controlling the gas indication means 20 to display corresponding colors and/or brightness and/or images according to gas concentration information detected by the gas detection means 10.

    [0033] As an embodiment of the present invention, the gas detection means 10 includes an ultrasonic sensor, mounted in an inner space in the main body of the range hood 1. With the change of the gas concentrations, a voltage signal output by the ultrasonic sensor also changes, and the current gas concentration can be calculated by detecting the voltage signal; thus, the gas concentration information detected by the gas detection means 10 is a voltage value. The gas indication means 20 includes a light-emitting element of more than two colors, and the light-emitting element may be a light-emitting diode (LED), a cold cathode fluorescent tube (CCFL), an organic light-emitting diode (OLED), etc. As the LED lamp has little power consumption, has a low cost, and has a variety of colors, LED preferably serves as the light-emitting element in this embodiment.

    [0034] In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the gas indication means 20 includes a red LED, a green LED and a blue LED, the three colors are three primary colors, and generate multiple colors and/or brightness by mixing in certain proportions, for example, yellow can be obtained by mixing the red LED and the green LED according to a proportion of 1:1; and white can be obtained by mixing the red LED, the green LED and the blue LED according to a proportion of 1:1:1. The control means can generate different colors by controlling opening or closing of each LED separately. The range hood 1 is preset with a correspondence relationship between colors and gas concentrations, the control means may be a micro-controller (MCU), referring to FIG. 2, FIG. 2 is a view of a correspondence relationship between colors and gas concentrations of a gas indication means according to an embodiment of the present invention, the gas concentrations are divided into five ranges, when there is no flue gas, the gas indication means 20 displays white; when the gas concentration is low, the gas indication means 20 displays blue; when the gas concentration reaches a middle level, the gas indication means 20 displays yellow; when the gas concentration is high, the gas indication means 20 displays orange; and when the gas concentration is extremely high, the gas indication means 20 displays red. Further, in order to prevent occurrence of dangerous events, the range hood 1 further includes alarm means, the range hood 1 is preset with an alarm concentration, and a reminding operation is performed when the detected gas concentration information reaches the alarm concentration. In this embodiment, the alarm concentration, like the gas concentration information, is also a voltage value. Preferably, the alarm means includes a buzzer, and the buzzer gives an alarm sound when the detected gas concentration information reaches the alarm concentration. Therefore, a user can know the level of the gas concentration without going near the stove as long as he observes the color displayed by the gas indication means 20 remotely, and can then infer the cooking state in the cooking vessel. For example, in the case of making a soup, when the user observes that the color displayed by the gas indication means 20 is blue, it indicates that the water is not boiling; when the user observes that the color displayed by the gas indication means 20 is orange, it indicates that a large amount of water vapor has generated, and the water in the cooking vessel has been boiled, and at this time, the user needs to go to the kitchen to adjust the first to be small, using a small fire to simmer.

    [0035] Further, in order to facilitate the user to directly know the cooking state, and in order that the user can infer the cooking state from the level of the gas concentration without according to experience, the range hood 1 associates the gas concentration information with the cooking state, and the gas indication means 20 indicates a corresponding cooking state directly by displaying colors and/or brightness and/or images. Herein, the present invention is not limited to displaying colors and/or brightness, corresponding images, such as texts or pictures also can be displayed. Certainly, the cooking state is also relevant to the cooking manner, therefore, the range hood 1 previously has stored information related to different cooking manners, for example, a correspondence relationship between gas concentration information and cooking states in different cooking manners such as decoct, fry, stir-fry, and boil.

    [0036] In order to further enable users to clearly distinguish the colors and/or brightness and/or images displayed by the gas indication means 20 remotely, the gas indication means 20 includes projection means, which projects the colors onto a wall and/or floor and/or ceiling of a room where the gas indication means 20 is located. In this way, the colors and/or brightness and/or images displayed on the wall and/or floor and/or ceiling of the room where the gas indication means 20 is located can be clearly distinguished in other rooms, i.e., the gas concentration or the cooking state. Further, in order to adapt to different room layouts, a projection position of the projection means is adjustable, and a user can adjust his projection position to a suitable position, to facilitate observation.

If no, the reminding operation is not performed, for example, the process goes back to step a, to achieve real-time monitoring on the gas concentration.


    Claims

    1. A control method for a range hood (1) comprising gas detection means (10) for detecting gas concentrations, gas indication means (20); and
    control means, used for controlling the gas indication means (20) to display corresponding colors and/or brightness and/or images according to gas concentrations information detected by the gas detection means (10), the method comprising the steps of:

    a. detecting gas concentrations, to obtain gas concentrations information;

    b. associating the gas concentrations information with a cooking state, and

    c. indicating a corresponding cooking state by the gas indication means (20) by displaying colors and/or brightness and/or images.


     
    2. Control method according to claim 1, characterized in that prompt information corresponding to the cooking state is sent to the user by detecting gas concentrations during the cooking.
     
    3. Control method according to anyone of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the range hood stores information related to different cooking manners.
     
    4. Control method according to claim 3, characterized in that the information related to different cooking manners is a correspondence relationship between gas concentration information and cooking states in different cooking manners.
     
    5. The control method for a range hood (1) according to anyone of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that, the range hood (1) further comprises alarm means, the range hood is preset with an alarm concentration, and the method further comprises:
    d. judging whether the gas concentrations information reaches the alarm concentration; and if yes, controlling the alarm means to perform a reminding operation.
     
    6. A range hood (1) for carrying out the method according to any one of claims 1 to 5, comprising gas detection means (10) for detecting gas concentrations;
    gas indication means (20); and
    control means, configured to control the gas indication means (20) to display corresponding colors and/or brightness and/or images according to gas concentrations information detected by the gas detection means (10), wherein the control means is configured to carry out the steps of:

    a. detecting gas concentrations, to obtain gas concentrations information;

    b. associating the gas concentrations information with a cooking state, and

    c. indicating a corresponding cooking state by the gas indication means (20) by displaying colors and/or brightness and/or images.


     
    7. The range hood (1) according to claim 6, characterized in that the gas indication means (20) comprises projection means, wherein a projection position of the projection means is adjustable.
     
    8. The range hood (1) according to claim 6 or 7, characterized in that, the projection means is used for projecting the colors and/or brightness and/or images onto a wall and/or floor and/or ceiling of a room where the gas indication means (20) is located.
     
    9. The range hood (1) according to claim 6 or 7, characterized in that, the gas indication means (20) comprises a light-emitting element of more than two colors.
     
    10. The range hood (1) according to claim 9, characterized in that, the light-emitting element is a light-emitting diode.
     
    11. The range hood (1) according to claim 10, characterized in that, the gas indication means (20) comprises a red light-emitting diode, a green light-emitting diode, and a blue light-emitting diode.
     
    12. The range hood (1) according to any one of claims 9 to 11, characterized in that, the gas indication means (20) is further used for providing lighting for the range hood (1).
     
    13. The range hood (1) according to any one of claims 6 to 12, characterized by further comprising alarm means, wherein the range hood (1) is preset with an alarm concentration, and the alarm means is used for performing a reminding operation when the gas concentrations information reaches the alarm concentration.
     


    Ansprüche

    1. Steuerungsverfahren für eine Dunstabzugshaube (1) umfassend Gasdetektionsmittel (10) zum Detektieren von Gaskonzentrationen, Gasanzeigemittel (20) und Steuerungsmittel zum Steuern der Gasanzeigemittel (20), um je nach den von den Gasdetektionsmitteln (10) ermittelten Gaskonzentrationsinformationen entsprechende Farben und/oder eine Helligkeit und/oder Bilder anzuzeigen, wobei das Verfahren weiterhin folgende Schritte umfasst:

    a. Detektieren von Gaskonzentrationen, um Gaskonzentrationsinformationen zu erhalten,

    b. Zuordnen der Gaskonzentrationsinformationen zu einem Kochzustand, und

    c. Anzeigen eines entsprechenden Kochzustands durch die Gasanzeigemittel (20), indem Farben und/oder eine Helligkeit und/oder Bilder angezeigt werden.


     
    2. Steuerungsverfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zeitnahe Informationen entsprechend dem Kochzustand an den Benutzer geschickt werden, indem Gaskonzentrationen während des Kochens detektiert werden.
     
    3. Steuerungsverfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Dunstabzugshaube Informationen in Bezug auf unterschiedliche Kochweisen speichert.
     
    4. Steuerungsverfahren nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Information in Bezug auf die unterschiedlichen Kochweisen ein Korrespondenzverhältnis zwischen Gaskonzentrationsinformationen und Kochzuständen bei unterschiedlichen Kochweisen ist.
     
    5. Steuerungsverfahren für eine Dunstabzugshaube (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Dunstabzugshaube (1) ferner Alarmmittel umfasst, die Dunstabzugshaube mit einer Alarmkonzentration voreingestellt ist, und das Verfahren ferner umfasst:
    d. Beurteilen, ob die Gaskonzentrationsinformation die Alarmkonzentration erreicht, und wenn ja, Steuern der Alarmmittel, um einen Erinnerungsvorgang durchzuführen.
     
    6. Dunstabzugshaube (1) zum Durchführen des Verfahrens nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, umfassend Gasdetektionsmittel (10) zum Detektieren von Gaskonzentrationen, Gasanzeigemittel (20), und Steuerungsmittel, die konfiguriert sind, um die Gasanzeigemittel (20) zu steuern, um je nach den von den Gasdetektionsmitteln (10) detektierten Gaskonzentrationsinformationen entsprechende Farben und/oder eine Helligkeit und/oder Bilder anzuzeigen, wobei die Steuerungsmittel konfiguriert sind, um die folgenden Schritte durchzuführen:

    a. Detektieren von Gaskonzentrationen, um Gaskonzentrationsinformationen zu erhalten,

    b. Zuordnen der Gaskonzentrationsinformationen zu einem Kochzustand, und

    c. Anzeigen eines entsprechenden Kochzustands durch die Gasanzeigemittel (20), indem Farben und/oder eine Helligkeit und/oder Bilder angezeigt werden.


     
    7. Dunstabzugshaube (1) nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gasanzeigemittel (20) Projektionsmittel umfassen, wobei eine Projektionsposition der Projektionsmittel einstellbar ist.
     
    8. Dunstabzugshaube (1) nach Anspruch 6 oder 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Projektionsmittel dazu dienen, die Farben und/oder die Helligkeit und/oder Bilder auf eine Wand und/oder den Fußboden und/oder die Decke eines Raums zu projizieren, in dem sich die Gasanzeigemittel (20) befinden.
     
    9. Dunstabzugshaube (1) nach Anspruch 6 oder 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gasanzeigemittel (20) ein lichtemittierendes Element mit mehr als zwei Farben umfassen.
     
    10. Dunstabzugshaube (1) nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das lichtemittierende Element eine Leuchtdiode ist.
     
    11. Dunstabzugshaube (1) nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gasanzeigemittel (20) eine rote Leuchtdiode, eine grüne Leuchtdiode und eine blaue Leuchtdiode umfassen.
     
    12. Dunstabzugshaube (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 9 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gasanzeigemittel (20) ferner dazu dienen, Beleuchtung für die Dunstabzugshaube (1) bereitzustellen.
     
    13. Dunstabzugshaube (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie ferner Alarmmittel umfasst, wobei die Dunstabzugshaube (1) mit einer Alarmkonzentration voreingestellt ist, und die Alarmmittel dazu dienen, einen Erinnerungsvorgang durchzuführen, wenn die Gaskonzentrationsinformation die Alarmkonzentration erreicht.
     


    Revendications

    1. Procédé de commande pour une hotte (1) comprenant un moyen de détection de gaz (10) pour détecter des concentrations de gaz, un moyen d'indication de gaz (20) ; et
    un moyen de commande, utilisé pour commander le moyen d'indication de gaz (20) afin d'afficher des couleurs et/ou une luminosité et/ou des images correspondante(s) aux informations de concentrations de gaz détectées par le moyen de détection de gaz (10), le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à :

    a. détecter des concentrations de gaz, pour obtenir des informations de concentrations de gaz ;

    b. associer les informations de concentrations de gaz à un état de cuisson, et

    c. indiquer un état de cuisson correspondant par le moyen d'indication de gaz (20) en affichant des couleurs et/ou une luminosité et/ou des images.


     
    2. Procédé de commande selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que des informations d'invite correspondant à l'état de cuisson sont envoyées à l'utilisateur en détectant des concentrations de gaz pendant la cuisson.
     
    3. Procédé de commande selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 et 2, caractérisé en ce que la hotte stocke des informations relatives à différentes manières de cuisson.
     
    4. Procédé de commande selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que les informations relatives à différentes manières de cuisson représentent une relation de correspondance entre des informations de concentrations de gaz et des états de cuisson de différentes manières de cuisson.
     
    5. Procédé de commande pour une hotte (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que, la hotte (1) comprend en outre un moyen d'alarme, la hotte est préréglée avec une concentration d'alarme, et le procédé comprend en outre le fait de :
    d. juger si les informations de concentrations de gaz atteignent la concentration d'alarme ;
    et si oui, commander le moyen d'alarme pour effectuer une opération de rappel.
     
    6. Hotte (1) pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, comprenant un moyen de détection de gaz (10) pour détecter des concentrations de gaz ;
    un moyen d'indication de gaz (20) ; et
    un moyen de commande configuré pour commander le moyen d'indication de gaz (20) afin d'afficher des couleurs et/ou une luminosité et/ou des images correspondante(s) aux informations de concentrations de gaz détectées par le moyen de détection de gaz (10), dans laquelle le moyen de commande est configuré pour mettre en oeuvre les étapes consistant à :

    a. détecter des concentrations de gaz, pour obtenir des informations de concentrations de gaz ;

    b. associer les informations de concentrations de gaz à un état de cuisson, et

    c. indiquer un état de cuisson correspondant par le moyen d'indication de gaz (20) en affichant des couleurs et/ou une luminosité et/ou des images.


     
    7. Hotte (1) selon la revendication 6, caractérisée en ce que le moyen d'indication de gaz (20) comprend un moyen de projection, dans laquelle une position de projection du moyen de projection est ajustable.
     
    8. Hotte (1) selon la revendication 6 ou 7, caractérisée en ce que, le moyen de projection est utilisé pour projeter les couleurs et/ou la luminosité et/ou les images sur un mur et/ou un plancher et/ou un plafond d'une pièce où se trouve le moyen d'indication de gaz (20).
     
    9. Hotte (1) selon la revendication 6 ou 7, caractérisée en ce que le moyen d'indication de gaz (20) comprend un élément électroluminescent de plus de deux couleurs.
     
    10. Hotte (1) selon la revendication 9, caractérisée en ce que l'élément électroluminescent est une diode électroluminescente.
     
    11. Hotte (1) selon la revendication 10, caractérisée en ce que le moyen d'indication de gaz (20) comprend une diode électroluminescente rouge, une diode électroluminescente verte et une diode électroluminescente bleue.
     
    12. Hotte (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 9 à 11, caractérisée en ce que, le moyen d'indication de gaz (20) est en outre utilisé pour fournir un éclairage pour la hotte (1).
     
    13. Hotte (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 6 à 12, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend en outre un moyen d'alarme, dans laquelle la hotte (1) est préréglée avec une concentration d'alarme, et le moyen d'alarme est utilisé pour effectuer une opération de rappel lorsque les informations de concentrations de gaz atteignent la concentration d'alarme.
