Description

[0001] The PCT application claims priority to and the benefit of CN application No. 2015102032660, entitled "Roller Type Solar Cell Sintering and Irradiation Annealing Integrated Continuous Furnace", filed to the State Intellectual Property Office on Apr. 25, 2015, which is incorporated herein in its entirety by reference.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The present invention relates to a roller type solar cell sintering and irradiation annealing integrated continuous furnace which can be used for sintering and irradiation annealing treatment of solar cells.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0003] In an entire production process flow of solar cells, three processes including diffusion, printing and sintering are most important, wherein the sintering process is mainly used for drying paste which acts the metal electrodes and is printed on front and back surfaces of silicon wafers, burning off an organic solvent volatilized from the paste, and synchronously sintering to form a good ohmic contact; Sintering quality directly affects conversion efficiency of the solar cells. Conventionally, the solar cells are sintered by a chain type sintering furnace.

[0004] Due to the existence of a boron-oxygen-pair, the efficiency of the solar cells may be degraded under long-term use. Such degradation is serious especially for PERC cells which are introduced in production recently. Researches show that such degradation phenomenon can be prevented effectively by an advanced irradiation annealing treatment process, which use a specific light source at a certain temperature and times. However, there is no this process on the current production line.

[0005] Thus, a roller type solar cell sintering and irradiation annealing integrated continuous furnace is provided in the present invention so that the cells are directly and continuously subjected to the irradiation annealing treatment after being sintered, thereby radically solving a problem of mass production in an irradiation annealing process.

[0009] The light sources can be halogen lamps, xenon lamps, incandescent lamps or LED lamps.

[0010] The heating apparatuses can be infrared lamp tubes, resistance wires or hot air blowers.

[0015] The irradiance of the light sources is 50 mW/cm2-200 mW/cm2 and preferably 80 mW/cm2-150 mW/cm2.

[0016] The rollers are made of high-temperature-resistant materials without pollution to the cells such as fused silica ceramic, quartz glass, alumina ceramic, silicon nitride ceramic, stainless steel, aluminum alloy or the like.

[0017] The rollers are solid rollers or hollow rollers. The rollers are in the shape of an isodiametric cylinder, steps, truncated cone, thread or annular ring. The rollers can rotate unidirectionally or in a reciprocating manner.

[0018] A buffer region is arranged between the sintering and cooling region and the irradiation annealing region. A heating and heat-insulating apparatus suitable for heating and heat-insulating the sintered cells is arranged in the buffer region, or a storage apparatus for temporarily storing the sintered cells is arranged in the buffer region, or a column dividing apparatus for dividing a single column of sintered cells into a plurality of columns to be transmitted to the irradiation annealing region is arranged in the buffer region. The sintered cells can be directly delivered into the irradiation annealing region by maintaining a certain temperature in the buffer region, can be also stored temporarily, and can be also divided from single column into the plurality of columns to be transmitted to the irradiation annealing region.

[0019] A set temperature of the heating and heat-insulating apparatus in the buffer region is 50 °C -200 °C.

[0020] Compared with the prior art, the present invention has the following beneficial effects:

Roller type solar cell sintering and irradiation annealing integrated continuous furnace provided by the present invention organically combines the sintering process with the irradiation annealing process to form a continuous production line; and the cells are continuously transmitted by the group of horizontally arranged rollers and are continuously subjected to the sintering and irradiation annealing treatment in a horizontal progressing process; therefore, the roller type solar cell sintering and irradiation annealing integrated continuous furnace has advantages of low energy consumption, stable operation, high productivity and continuous production, and can be promoted and applied to solve the problem of degradation of the solar cells during use maximally.
