    Description


    [0001] The invention pertains to the field of structures comprising piers, and in particular to the reinforcements of such structures.

    [0002] Such structures, which are in particular present in multi-span bridges, comprise piers which bear on foundations in the ground and are used to support bridge elements such as a deck over which vehicles and/or pedestrians may pass.

    [0003] Over time, such structures tend to degrade, for instance under the influence of natural elements or of malicious acts.

    [0004] These degradations translate for example into the concrete of different components of the structure deteriorating, thereby reducing the structural properties of the structure.

    [0005] In other situations, the load capacity of the structure may simply need upgrading, for instance due to a greater traffic capacity being needed on the bridge.

    [0006] In such configurations, different approaches aimed at solving these problems are commonly employed. One approach lies in adjoining a reinforcement apparatus to the structure which is designed to take up at least part of the strains applied by the bridge elements to the piers.

    [0007] The most commonly encountered reinforcement apparatus designed to that end presents itself in the form of an additional skin of reinforcing material such as concrete laid out around the initial piers. The skin is setup through a partial or complete demolition of the existing piers, anchoring reinforcement bars in the structure in the desired area, and pouring concrete in a space around the pier within which the bars are located.

    [0008] This way of proceeding presents drawbacks. In particular, it requires that the existing structure be temporarily weakened due to its being partly or fully demolished. This weakening requires that the structure be temporarily propped, which increases the cost and duration of the whole operation without entirely removing the risk factor that the partial or full demolition constitutes.

    [0009] GB 2 420 365 A discloses a method of repairing or reinforcing a bridge, wherein the method comprises fixing a reinforcement plate in a spaced relationship with an existing plate or girder of the bridge to form a closed cavity and injecting plastics or polymer material into the cavity in liquid form, whereby the plastic/polymer material sets or cures so as to bond to the reinforcing and existing plate/girder with sufficient strength to transfer shear forces therebetween.

    [0010] The present invention seeks to improve this situation.

    [0011] The invention relates to a method of reinforcing a structure according to claim 1 and to a reinforced structure according to claim 10.

    [0012] According to an aspect of the invention, the column comprises two column faces facing the pier and respectively located on opposite sides of the pier.

    [0013] According to an aspect of the invention, each column face and the pier define a gap therebetween, each gap being at least partly filled with a reinforcing material.

    [0014] According to an aspect of the invention, the reinforcing material mechanically couples each column face to the pier.

    [0015] According to an aspect of the invention, the column further comprises a casing surrounding the pier at least partly, said casing being made of the reinforcing material at least in part.

    [0016] According to an aspect of the invention, two transverse beams are respectively arranged on two opposite sides of the cross-beam.

    [0017] According to an aspect of the invention, each transverse beam and the cross-beam define a space therebetween, each space being at least partly filled with a reinforcement material which mechanically couples the transverse beams to the cross-beam.

    [0033] The pier 4 is configured to support the rest of the structure 2, in particular the structure element 8, hereinafter element 8.

    [0034] The pier presents itself in the form of a column extending substantially vertically (although the word column is used to designate another element of the invention).

    [0035] In some technical fields such as that of bridges, the word pier may be used to designate the group of columns through which a deck segment of a bridge bears on its foundations. In the present application, this term is to be understood as referring to a single of such columns.

    [0036] The pier 4 bears on foundations 10 of the structure, and stretches upward toward the element 8.

    [0037] The pier 4 is made of any known material, such as reinforced concrete.

    [0038] Its cross-section has a shape having any known form. For instance, this cross-section is rectangular. For instance, its height is greater than 5 m, and is in an example greater than 10 m.

    [0039] In the example of Figure 2, the structure 2 comprises two piers 4 which are spread apart along a longitudinal direction of the element 8. However, the structure may comprise any given number of piers, such as one or more than two.

For instance, these side portions have a trapezoid shape, although any configuration may be envisaged regarding the side portions, even configurations in which the cross-beam does not exhibit side portions.

    [0045] The element 8 forms all or part of a deck of the structure 2. In other words, it is a deck segment of the structure 2.

In other words, the element 8 may be a transverse deck segment, and the piers and the cross-beam form supporting elements of the transverse deck segment.

    [0048] The element 8 further comprises beams 14 secured to a bottom face of the upper portion and arranged transversely relative to the longitudinal direction of the element 8. These beams 14 are for instance made of steel.

    [0049] In addition, it comprises bearings 16 arranged between the cross-beam 6 and the beams 14 for transferring the load of the element 8 to the cross-beam and the piers.

    [0050] Figure 2 illustrates a reinforcement apparatus 18 which has been coupled to the structure of Figure 1.

    [0051] The apparatus and the structure thus form an integrated assembly.

    [0052] The apparatus 18 is configured to reinforce the structure. More precisely, it is configured to take up at least part of the loads of the structure 2 within the assembly.

    [0053] The apparatus 18 is a permanent reinforcing structure, as opposed to a temporary one which is set up to temporarily strengthen or repair the structure and which is removed thereafter. In other words, after having been built, the apparatus is kept in place and permanently reinforces the structure 2.

    [0054] In particular, the apparatus is configured to last through the entire lifespan of the structure. For instance, the apparatus is configured to stay coupled to the structure for a duration greater than several decades, for instance greater than 60 years. Advantageously, it is configured to stay coupled to the structure for over a hundred years.

    [0055] The reinforcement apparatus 18, hereinafter apparatus 18, comprises at least one column 20 and one transverse beam 22.

    [0056] In effect, the apparatus 18 advantageously comprises a plurality of columns. More precisely, it comprises a column for each pier on which the cross-beam bears.

    [0057] Each column 20 bears on the foundations 10. In addition, each column extends upwardly from the foundation towards the bottom face of the element 8. The upper end of each column is located approximately at the same height as that of the pier.

    [0058] Each column is mechanically coupled to the corresponding pier. In other words, the column and the corresponding pier are in contact with one another so that loads may be transferred therebetween.

    [0059] Each column has a cross-section having an external shape of any known form.

    [0062] Each column 20 is hollow and defines an inner cavity within which the corresponding pier is received. The pier is then entirely surrounded by the column, or is only partly surrounded. By only partly surrounded, it is understood that the pier is surrounded over only part of its height and/or only part of its circumference.

    [0063] Advantageously, as in the embodiment of the Figures, each pier is entirely surrounded by the corresponding column 20. Each column then forms an outer shell that circumferentially encapsulates the pier over its entire height. This configuration serves to enhance the load transfers between the two structure components and to protect the pier.

    [0064] In reference to Figure 3 which illustrates a cross-section of a column 20 and of the pier it receives, each column 20 comprises two column faces 24 and a reinforcement casing 26.

    [0065] The two column faces 24 face the pier and are respectively located on opposite sides of the pier 4. In Figure 2, the faces 24 of a given column 20 correspond to the front and back faces of the column respectively (in the sense of the orientation of Figure 2).

For instance, these prefabricated elements are in the form of vertical panels which each run over a portion of the entire height of the column. The prefabricated elements are attached to one another using any known means.

    [0075] These prefabricated elements are advantageously made of concrete. Most advantageously, they are made of ultra-high performance fiber reinforced concrete, or UHPFRC. They are advantageously made through a moulding process using a mould (or cast). They then form precast elements.

    [0077] However, the faces 24, regardless of whether they are made of prefabricated components or not, are advantageously made of concrete and most advantageously made of UHPFRC.

The two remaining opposite sides are for instance free of any form of cover and are in contact with the surrounding air. Alternatively, as described in more details herebelow, they may be covered by an absorptive form.

    [0083] In reference to Figure 4, advantageously, the inner surface of the faces 24 are provided with spacing elements 29 configured to maintain the corresponding face 24 apart from the pier. These elements 29 ensure that the faces 24 are apart from the pier while the casing is built, thereby allowing the material of the casing to fill the gap 28 between the face and the pier to form the casing, as will be described in more details hereinafter.

For instance, these elements present a general U-shape whose legs are secured to the corresponding face 24.

    [0119] In a first step S1, the beams 22 are formed. The beams are advantageously formed directly below the element 8 near the feet of the piers. The two beams are formed in a configuration in which they are substantially parallel to the cross-beam, and are formed on different respective sides of the structure (such as the front and back sides).

    [0120] To that end, the prefabricated beam elements are assembled together so as to form each of the two beams. These elements are for instance brought over to the building site using vehicles. The elements are for instance assembled over supports which are laid out on the ground or a foundation surface.

    [0121] Once the two beams are formed, they are secured to each other using securing devices 38 stretching between the two beams. These devices are configured to maintain the relative spacing of the two beams and to keep them in a parallel configuration. These devices for instance include rigid frames.

    [0122] In a step S2, as depicted in Figure 8, one or more platforms 40 are secured to the transverse beams. These platforms are destined to be suspended, and are designed to grant access to operators to the interface between the beams of the element 8 and the top portion of the apparatus.

    [0124] In a step S3, the beams 22 are lifted up towards the cross-beam. To that end, lifting mechanisms 42 such as lifting cable jacks are employed. These mechanisms 42 are for instance installed on the structure 2, and preferably on the cross-beam 6.

In addition, the optional spacing elements 29 which are on the inner surface of each panel are nearly contacting or actually contacting the pier. The panels 44 are then attached by their upper end to the lower end of the corresponding transverse beam which is located above.

    Claims

    1. A method of reinforcing a structure, wherein the structure comprises:

    - at least one pier (4) bearing on foundations (10),

    - a cross-beam (6) bearing on the pier (4); and

    - at least one structure element located above the cross-beam,

    the method comprising :

    - forming a transverse beam (22),

    - lifting the transverse beam (22) towards the cross-beam (6),

    - forming at least part of a column (20) to bear on the foundations (10) and to surround the pier (4) partly, wherein the at least part of the column (20) and the transverse beam are arranged in a fixed relative position; and

    - mechanically coupling the at least part of the column (20) to the pier (4) and mechanically coupling the transverse beam (22) to the cross-beam (6).


     
    2. The method according to claim 1, wherein forming the transverse beam comprises assembling together a plurality of prefabricated beam elements.
     
    3. The method according to claim 1 or 2, wherein forming at least part of the column comprises:

    - arranging column elements around the pier and securing said columns elements together so as to define a stage of the column,

    - attaching the stage to the transverse beam,

    - lifting the transverse beam and the stage to free up space below said stage,

    - arranging new column elements around the pier in the space which has been freed-up and securing said new columns elements together so as to define a new stage of the column,

    - securing the new stage to the stage of the column previously formed.


     
    4. The method according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the column comprises two column faces (24) facing the pier and respectively located on opposite sides of the pier, mechanically coupling said at least part of the column to the pier comprising filling at least part of each gap defined between a column face and the pier with a reinforcing material.
     
    5. The method according to claim 3, further comprising coupling formwork elements (48) to the two column faces to define conjointly with the column faces an inner space which comprise the gaps between the column faces and the pier, and filling said inner space at least in part with the reinforcing material to form a casing with encapsulates at least part of the pier.
     
    6. The method according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the reinforcement apparatus comprises two transverse beams (22) respectively arranged on two opposite sides of the cross-beam, the method further comprising coupling formwork elements (48) to the two transverse beams to define an inner volume which comprises spaces defined between the transverse beams and the cross-beam, and filling said inner volume at least in part with a reinforcement material to define a reinforcement casing which encapsulates at least part of the cross-beam.
     
    7. The method according to claims 4 and 6, wherein the inner space and the inner volume are in fluid communication, and wherein the operations of filling said inner space and inner volume are carried out in a single filling step.
     
    8. The method according to any one of claims 1 to 7, further comprising arranging at least one load transfer element (36) on an upper face of the transverse beam and having said load transfer element come in contact with the structure element so as to take up at least part of a load the structure element previously applied to the cross-head.
     
    9. The method according to any of claims 1 to 8, further comprising securing a platform destined to be suspended to the transverse beam while the transverse beam is being formed or after the transverse beam has been formed.
     
    10. A reinforced structure, comprising :

    - at least one pier (4) bearing on foundations (10);

    - a cross-beam (6) bearing on the pier (4);

    - at least one structure element (8) located above the cross-beam;

    - at least one column (20) surrounding the pier (4) at least partly, the column (20) being mechanically coupled to the pier (4) and bearing on the foundations (10), and

    - at least one transverse beam (22) fixed relative to the column (20) and mechanically coupled to the cross-beam (6).


     
    11. The reinforced structure according to claim 10, wherein the column comprises two column faces (24) facing the pier and respectively located on opposite sides of the pier, and wherein each column face and the pier define a gap therebetween, each gap being at least partly filled with a reinforcing material to mechanically couple each column face (24) to the pier (4).
     
    12. The reinforced structure according to claim 11, wherein the column further comprises a casing (26) surrounding the pier at least partly, said casing being made of the reinforcing material at least in part.
     
    13. The reinforced structure according to any one of claims 10-12, comprising two transverse beams (22) respectively arranged on two opposite sides of the cross-beam (6), wherein each transverse beam (22) and the cross-beam (6) define a space therebetween, each space being at least partly filled with a reinforcement material which mechanically couples the transverse beams to the cross-beam.
     
    14. The reinforced structure according to claim 13, wherein the reinforcement material is in the form of a reinforcement casing (35) encapsulating at least part of the cross-beam.
     
    15. The reinforced structure according to any one of claims 10-14, further comprising at least one load transfer element (36) arranged on an upper face of said at least one transverse beam to take up at least part of the load of the structure element.
     


    Ansprüche

    1. Verfahren zum Verstärken einer Struktur, wobei die Struktur umfasst:

    - wenigstens einen Pier (4), welcher auf Fundamenten (10) ruht,

    - einen Querträger (6), welcher auf dem Pier (4) ruht; und

    - wenigstens ein Strukturelement, welches oberhalb des Querträgers angeordnet ist,

    wobei das Verfahren umfasst:

    - Bilden eines Traversenträgers (22),

    - Anheben des Traversenträgers (22) in Richtung des Querträgers (6),

    - Bilden wenigstens eines Teils einer Säule (20), um auf den Fundamenten (10) zu ruhen und den Pier (4) teilweise zu umgeben, wobei wenigstens der Teil der Säule (20) und der Traversenträger in einer festen relativen Position angeordnet sind; und

    - mechanisches Koppeln des wenigstens einen Teils der Säule (20) an den Pier (4) und mechanisches Koppeln des Traversenträgers (22) an den Querträger (6).


     
    2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Bilden des Traversenträgers ein Zusammenbauen einer Mehrzahl von vorfabrizierten Trägerelementen umfasst.
     
    3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei das Bilden des wenigstens einen Teils der Säule umfasst:

    - Anordnen von Säulenelementen um den Pier herum und Sichern der Säulenelemente miteinander, um so eine Stufe der Säule zu definieren,

    - Anbringen der Stufe an den Traversenträger,

    - Anheben des Traversenträgers und der Stufe, um Raum unterhalb der Stufe freizulegen,

    - Anordnen neuer Säulenelemente um den Pier herum in dem Raum, welcher freigelegt worden ist, und Sichern neuer Säulenelemente miteinander, um so eine neue Stufe der Säule zu definieren,

    - Sichern der neuen Stufe an die zuvor gebildete Stufe der Säule.


     
    4. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei die Säule zwei Säulenflächen (24) umfasst, welche zu dem Pier weisen und jeweils an unterschiedlichen Seiten des Piers angeordnet sind, wobei das mechanische Koppeln des wenigstens einen Teils der Säule an den Pier ein Füllen von wenigstens einem Teil von jedem Abstand, welcher zwischen einer Säulenfläche und dem Pier definiert ist, mit einem Verstärkungsmaterial umfasst.
     
    5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, ferner umfassend ein Koppeln von Schalungselementen (48) an die beiden Säulenflächen, um gemeinschaftlich mit den Säulenflächen einen Innenraum zu definieren, welcher die Abstände zwischen den Säulenflächen und dem Pier umfasst, und Füllen des Innenraums wenigstens teilweise mit dem Verstärkungsmaterial, um ein Gehäuse zu bilden, welches wenigstens einen Teil des Piers einschließt.
     
    6. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei die Verstärkungsvorrichtung zwei Traversenträger (22) umfasst, welche jeweils an zwei entgegengesetzten Seiten des Querträgers angeordnet sind, wobei das Verfahren ferner ein Koppeln von Schalungselementen (48) an die beiden Traversenträger umfasst, um ein Innenvolumen zu definieren, welches Räume umfasst, welche zwischen den Traversenträgern und dem Querträger definiert sind, sowie ein Füllen des Innenvolumens wenigstens teilweise mit einem Verstärkungsmaterial, um ein Verstärkungsgehäuse zu definieren, welches wenigstens einen Teil des Querträgers einschließt.
     
    7. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 4 und 6, wobei der Innenraum und das Innenvolumen in Fluidkommunikation stehen, und wobei die Vorgänge des Füllens des Innenraums und des Innenvolumens in einem einzelnen Füllschritt ausgeführt werden.
     
    8. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, ferner umfassend ein Anordnen von wenigstens einem Lasttransfer-Element (36) an einer oberen Fläche des Traversenträgers und Versetzen des Lasttransfer-Elements in Kontakt mit dem Strukturelement, um so wenigstens einen Teil einer Last aufzunehmen, welche das Strukturelement zuvor auf den Querkopf ausgeübt hat.
     
    9. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, ferner umfassend ein Sichern einer Plattform, welche dazu vorgesehen ist, an dem Traversenträger aufgehängt zu sein, während der Traversenträger gebildet wird, oder nachdem der Traversenträger gebildet worden ist.
     
    10. Verstärkungsstruktur, umfassend:

    - wenigstens einen Pier (4), welcher auf Fundamenten (10) ruht;

    - einen Querträger (6), welcher auf dem Pier (4) ruht;

    - wenigstens ein Strukturelement (8), welches oberhalb des Querträgers angeordnet ist;

    - wenigstens eine Säule (20), welche den Pier (4) wenigstens teilweise umgibt, wobei die Säule (20) mechanisch mit dem Pier (4) gekoppelt ist und auf den Fundamenten (10) ruht, und

    - wenigstens einen Traversenträger (22), welcher relativ zu der Säule (20) fixiert und mechanisch mit dem Querträger (6) gekoppelt ist.


     
    11. Verstärkungsstruktur nach Anspruch 10, wobei die Säule zwei Säulenflächen (24) umfasst, welche zu dem Pier weisen und jeweils an entgegengesetzten Seiten des Piers angeordnet sind, und wobei jede Säulenfläche und der Pier einen Abstand dazwischen definieren, wobei jeder Abstand wenigstens teilweise mit einem Verstärkungsmaterial gefüllt ist, um jede Säulenfläche (24) mechanisch an den Pier (4) zu koppeln.
     
    12. Verstärkungsstruktur nach Anspruch 11, wobei die Säule ferner ein Gehäuse (26) umfasst, welches den Pier wenigstens teilweise umgibt, wobei das Gehäuse wenigstens teilweise aus dem Verstärkungsmaterial hergestellt ist.
     
    13. Verstärkungsstruktur nach einem der Ansprüche 10-12, umfassend zwei Traversenträger (22), welche jeweils an zwei entgegengesetzten Seiten des Querträgers (6) angeordnet sind, wobei jeder Traversenträger (22) und der Querträger (6) dazwischen einen Raum definieren, wobei jeder Raum wenigstens teilweise mit einem Verstärkungsmaterial gefüllt ist, welches die Traversenträger mechanisch an den Querträger koppelt.
     
    14. Verstärkungsstruktur nach Anspruch 13, wobei das Verstärkungsmaterial in der Form eines Verstärkungsgehäuses (35) vorliegt, welches wenigstens einen Teil des Querträgers einschließt.
     
    15. Verstärkungsstruktur nach einem der Ansprüche 10 bis 14, ferner umfassend wenigstens ein Lasttransfer-Element (36), welches an einer oberen Fläche des wenigstens einen Querträgers angeordnet ist, um wenigstens einen Teil der Last des Strukturelements aufzunehmen.
     


    Revendications

    1. Procédé de renforcement d'une structure, dans lequel la structure comprend :

    - au moins un pilier (4) reposant sur des fondations (10),

    - une traverse (6) reposant sur le pilier (4) ; et

    - au moins un élément de structure situé au-dessus de la traverse,

    le procédé comprenant :

    - la formation d'une poutre transversale (22),

    - le soulèvement de la poutre transversale (22) vers la traverse (6),

    - la formation d'au moins une partie d'une colonne (20) pour reposer sur les fondations (10) et pour entourer le pilier (4) partiellement, dans lequel l'au moins une partie de la colonne (20) et la poutre transversale sont agencées dans une position relative fixée ; et

    - le couplage mécanique de l'au moins une partie de la colonne (20) au pilier (4), et le couplage mécanique de la poutre transversale (22) à la traverse (6).


     
    2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la formation de la poutre transversale comprend l'assemblage d'une pluralité d'éléments de poutre préfabriqués les uns aux autres.
     
    3. Procédé selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans lequel la formation d'au moins une partie de la colonne comprend :

    - l'agencement d'éléments de colonne autour du pilier et la fixation desdits éléments de colonnes les uns aux autres de manière à définir un étage de la colonne,

    - l'attache de l'étage à la poutre transversale,

    - le soulèvement de la poutre transversale et de l'étage pour libérer un espace sous ledit étage,

    - l'agencement de nouveaux éléments de colonne autour du pilier dans l'espace qui a été libéré et la fixation desdits nouveaux éléments de colonnes les uns aux autres de manière à définir un nouvel étage de la colonne,

    - la fixation du nouvel étage à l'étage de la colonne précédemment formé.


     
    4. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, dans lequel la colonne comprend deux faces de colonne (24) faisant face au pilier et situées respectivement sur des côtés opposés du pilier, le couplage mécanique de ladite au moins une partie de la colonne au pilier comprenant le remplissage d'au moins une partie de chaque écart défini entre une face de colonne et le pilier avec un matériau de renforcement.
     
    5. Procédé selon la revendication 3, comprenant en outre le couplage d'éléments de coffrage (48) aux deux faces de colonne pour définir conjointement avec les faces de colonne un espace intérieur qui comprend les écarts entre les faces de colonne et le pilier, et le remplissage dudit espace intérieur au moins en partie avec le matériau de renforcement pour former une enveloppe qui encapsule au moins une partie du pilier.
     
    6. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, dans lequel l'appareil de renforcement comprend deux poutres transversales (22) agencées respectivement sur deux côtés opposés de la traverse, le procédé comprenant en outre le couplage d'éléments de coffrage (48) aux deux poutres transversales pour définir un volume intérieur qui comprend des espaces définis entre les poutres transversales et la traverse, et le remplissage dudit volume intérieur au moins en partie avec un matériau de renforcement pour définir une enveloppe de renforcement qui encapsule au moins une partie de la traverse.
     
    7. Procédé selon les revendications 4 et 6, dans lequel l'espace intérieur et le volume intérieur sont en communication fluidique, et dans lequel les opérations de remplissage dudit espace intérieur et dudit volume intérieur sont effectuées en une seule étape de remplissage.
     
    8. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, comprenant en outre l'agencement d'au moins un élément de transfert de charge (36) sur une face supérieure de la poutre transversale et la mise en contact dudit élément de transfert de charge avec l'élément de structure de manière à reprendre au moins une partie d'une charge que l'élément de structure a précédemment appliquée sur la tête transversale.
     
    9. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, comprenant en outre la fixation d'une plate-forme destinée à être suspendue à la poutre transversale pendant que la poutre transversale est formée ou après que la poutre transversale a été formée.
     
    10. Structure renforcée, comprenant :

    - au moins un pilier (4) reposant sur des fondations (10) ;

    - une traverse (6) reposant sur le pilier (4) ;

    - au moins un élément de structure (8) situé au-dessus de la traverse ;

    - au moins une colonne (20) entourant au moins partiellement le pilier (4), la colonne (20) étant couplée mécaniquement au pilier (4) et reposant sur les fondations (10), et

    - au moins une poutre transversale (22) fixée par rapport à la colonne (20) et couplée mécaniquement à la traverse (6).


     
    11. Structure renforcée selon la revendication 10, dans laquelle la colonne comprend deux faces de colonne (24) faisant face au pilier et situées respectivement sur des côtés opposés du pilier, et dans laquelle chaque face de colonne et le pilier définissent un écart entre eux, chaque écart étant au moins partiellement rempli avec un matériau de renforcement pour coupler mécaniquement chaque face de colonne (24) au pilier (4).
     
    12. Structure renforcée selon la revendication 11, dans laquelle la colonne comprend en outre une enveloppe (26) entourant au moins partiellement le pilier, ladite enveloppe étant réalisée au moins en partie en matériau de renforcement.
     
    13. Structure renforcée selon l'une quelconque des revendications 10 à 12, comprenant deux poutres transversales (22) agencées respectivement sur deux côtés opposés de la traverse (6), dans laquelle chaque poutre transversale (22) et la traverse (6) définissent un espace entre elles, chaque espace étant au moins partiellement rempli d'un matériau de renforcement qui couple mécaniquement la poutre transversale à la traverse.
     
    14. Structure renforcée selon la revendication 13, dans laquelle le matériau de renforcement se présente sous la forme d'une enveloppe de renforcement (35) encapsulant au moins une partie de la traverse.
     
    15. Structure renforcée selon l'une quelconque des revendications 10 à 14, comprenant en outre au moins un élément de transfert de charge (36) agencé sur une face supérieure de ladite au moins une poutre transversale pour reprendre au moins une partie de la charge de l'élément de structure.
