    Description

    Technical Field



    [0001] The present invention relates to an electronic apparatus.

    Background Art



    [0002] An image processing apparatus displays an authentication method list that includes a user authentication method based on character input and a user authentication method based on finger print scanning, and performs user authentication in accordance with an authentication method selected by a user in the authentication method list. (see JP 2009 - 199 235 A).

    [0003] However, in the aforementioned image processing apparatus, a user is required to perform an operation to select a desired authentication method from the authentication method list, and therefore, the user is required to perform a complicated user operation for user authentication.

    [0004] In addition, in case of only one authentication method, an operation to select a desired authentication method is unnecessary, but a user may not perform user authentication with a desired user authentication method.

    [0005] US 2015 / 0 128 252 A1 discloses an authentication control system capable of selecting automatically an authentication mode that uses the sensor suitable for environmental conditions in which a terminal is placed.

    [0006]  US 2014 / 0 347 161 A1 further discloses that an image of a user is captured and that face features are recognized from the image. Afterwards, the recognized face features are compared with face features prestored in the memory in order to determine whether or not the user is authorized. In case the user is not authorized, a password or a fingerprint needs to be inputted.

    [0007] The present invention is conceived in view of the aforementioned problems and aims for providing an electronic apparatus that performs user authentication in accordance with a user authentication method suitable to a situation that a user is in, even though the user does not select a desired user authentication method. Moreover, the present invention aims to restrain that a person other than a registered user steals a glance at a passcode inputted for the passcode authentication. Starting from US 2015 / 0 128 252 A1, the object is solved by an electronic control apparatus according to claim 1. Preferred embodiments are subject-matter of the dependent claims.

    [0008] An electronic apparatus according to the present invention includes an authentication method selecting unit that automatically selects one user authentication method among predetermined plural user authentication methods on the basis of an output from at least one among an imaging device built in this electronic apparatus, an acceleration sensor built in this electronic apparatus and a position detecting device built in this electronic apparatus; and a user authenticating unit that performs user authentication in accordance with the user authentication method selected by the authentication method selecting unit. If a default user authentication method is a passcode authentication or a pattern input authentication, then the authentication selection method selecting unit determines whether a person other than a registered user is detected in the photographed image, selects a fingerprint authentication if a person other than a registered user is detected, and selects the passcode authentication or the pattern input authentication if not.

    Advantageous effect of invention

    Description of embodiments



    [0012] Hereinafter, an embodiment according to aspects of the present invention will be explained with reference to drawings.

    [0013] Fig. 1 shows a block diagram that indicates a configuration of an electronic apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention. The electronic apparatus shown in Fig. 1 is a mobile terminal device such as smartphone, for example.

    [0014] The electronic apparatus shown in Fig. 1 includes a wireless communication device 11, a display device 12, an input device 13, a position detecting device 14, an acceleration sensor 15, a fingerprint scanner 16, an imaging device 17, a storage device 18, and a processor 19.

    [0015] The wireless communication device 11 is, for example, a communication circuit capable to connecting to a wireless telephone network, a wireless LAN interface or the like, and performs wireless communication in accordance with a predetermined wireless communication standard.

    [0016] The display device 12 is a device such as a liquid crystal display arranged on a housing of this electronic apparatus and displays sorts of screens to a user.

    [0017] The input device 13 is a device such as a touch panel arranged on the display device 12, a hard key or the like, and detects a user operation.

The pattern input authentication may be used instead of the aforementioned passcode authentication.

    Claims

    1. An electronic apparatus, comprising:

    an authentication method selecting unit (31) adapted to automatically select one user authentication method among predetermined plural user authentication methods on the basis of an output from at least one among an imaging device (17) built in this electronic apparatus, an acceleration sensor (15) built in this electronic apparatus and a position detecting device (14) built in this electronic apparatus; and

    a user authenticating unit (32) adapted to perform user authentication in accordance with the user authentication method selected by the authentication method selecting unit (31),

    characterized in that the plurality of user authentication methods comprises at least a passcode authentication or a pattern input authentication and a fingerprint authentication,

    that if a default user authentication method is a passcode authentication or a pattern input authentication, then the authentication method selecting unit (31) is adapted (a) to determine whether a person other than a registered user is detected in a photographed image obtained from the imaging device (17), and (b1) to select a fingerprint authentication if a person other than a registered user is detected in the photographed image and (b2) to select the passcode authentication or the pattern input authentication if a person other than a registered user is not detected in the photographed image.


     
    2. The electronic apparatus according to claim 1, wherein if a default user authentication method is a fingerprint authentication, then the authentication method selecting unit (31) is adapted (a) to determine whether an acceleration that exceeds a predetermined value is detected by the acceleration sensor (15), and (b1) to select a passcode authentication or a pattern input authentication if an acceleration that exceeds the predetermined value is detected and (b2) to select the fingerprint authentication if an acceleration that exceeds the predetermined value is not detected.
     
    3. The electronic apparatus according to claim 1, wherein if a default user authentication method is a passcode authentication or a pattern input authentication, then the authentication method selecting unit (31) is adapted (a1) to determine whether a person other than a registered user is detected in a photographed image obtained from the imaging device (17) and (a2) to determine whether a current position detected by the position detecting unit (14) is in a predetermined home area, and (b1) if a person other than a registered user is detected in the photographed image, to select a fingerprint authentication if the current position is not in the home area and to select the passcode authentication or the pattern input authentication if the current position is in the home area and (b2) if a person other than a registered user is not detected in the photographed image, to select the passcode authentication or the pattern input authentication regardless of the current position.
     


    Ansprüche

    1. Elektronische Vorrichtung mit:

    einer Authentifizierungsverfahren-Auswahleinheit (31), die geeignet ist, um automatisch ein Benutzerauthentifizierungsverfahren aus mehreren vorgegebenen Benutzerauthentifizierungsverfahren auf der Basis einer Ausgabe von zumindest einer der Komponenten, Bildgebungsvorrichtung (17), die in dieser elektronischen Vorrichtung eingebaut ist, Beschleunigungssensor (15), der in dieser elektronischen Vorrichtung eingebaut ist, und Positionserfassungsvorrichtung (14), die in dieser elektronischen Vorrichtung eingebaut ist, auszuwählen; und

    einer Benutzerauthentifizierungseinheit (32), die geeignet ist, um eine Benutzerauthentifizierung gemäß dem Benutzerauthentifizierungsverfahren durchzuführen, das von der Authentifizierungsverfahren-Auswahleinheit (31) ausgewählt wird,

    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Mehrzahl von Benutzerauthentifizierungsverfahren zumindest eine der Authentifizierungen, Passcode-Authentifizierung oder Mustereingabe-Authentifizierung und Fingerabdruck-Authentifizierung, enthält, dass, wenn ein Standard-Benutzerauthentifizierungsverfahren eine Passcode-Authentifizierung oder eine Mustereingabe-Authentifizierung ist, die Authentifizierungsverfahren-Auswahleinheit (31) geeignet ist, (a) zu bestimmen, ob eine andere Person als ein registrierter Benutzer in einem fotografierten Bild erfasst wird, das von der Bildgebungsvorrichtung (17) erhalten wird, und (b1) eine Fingerabdruck-Authentifizierung auszuwählen, wenn eine andere Person als ein registrierter Benutzer in dem fotografierten Bild erfasst wird, und (b2) die Passcode-Authentifizierung oder die Mustereingabe-Authentifizierung auszuwählen, wenn eine andere Person als ein registrierter Benutzer in dem fotografierten Bild nicht erfasst wird.


     
    2. Elektronische Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei, wenn ein Standard-Benutzerauthentifizierungsverfahren eine Fingerabdruck-Authentifizierung ist, die Authentifizierungsverfahren-Auswahleinheit (31) geeignet ist, (a) zu bestimmen, ob eine Beschleunigung, die einen vorgegebenen Wert überschreitet, durch den Beschleunigungssensor (15) erfasst wird, und (b1) eine Passcode-Authentifizierung oder eine Mustereingabe-Authentifizierung auszuwählen, wenn eine Beschleunigung erfasst wird, die den vorgegebenen Wert überschreitet, und (b2) die Fingerabdruck-Authentifizierung auszuwählen, wenn eine Beschleunigung nicht erfasst wird, die den vorgegebenen Wert überschreitet.
     
    3. Elektronische Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei, wenn ein Standard-Benutzerauthentifizierungsverfahren eine Passcode-Authentifizierung oder eine Mustereingabe-Authentifizierung ist, die Authentifizierungsverfahren-Auswahleinheit (31) geeignet ist, (a1) zu bestimmen, ob eine andere Person als ein registrierter Benutzer in einem fotografierten Bild erfasst wird, das von der Bildgebungsvorrichtung (17) erhalten wird, und (a2) zu bestimmen, ob eine aktuelle Position, die von der Positionserfassungseinheit (14) erfasst wird, in einem vorgegebenen Heimgebiet ist, und (b1) wenn eine andere Person als ein registrierter Benutzer in dem fotografierten Bild erfasst wird, eine Fingerabdruck-Authentifizierung auszuwählen, wenn die aktuelle Position nicht in dem Heimgebiet ist, und die Passcode-Authentifizierung oder die Mustereingabe-Authentifizierung auszuwählen, wenn die aktuelle Position in dem Heimgebiet ist, und (b2) wenn eine andere Person als ein registrierter Benutzer in dem fotografierten Bild nicht erfasst wird, die Passcode-Authentifizierung oder die Mustereingabe-Authentifizierung unabhängig von der aktuellen Position auszuwählen.
     


    Revendications

    1. Appareil électronique, comprenant :

    une unité de sélection de procédé d'authentification (31) adaptée pour sélectionner automatiquement un procédé d'authentification d'utilisateur parmi de nombreux procédés d'authentification d'utilisateur prédéterminés sur la base d'une sortie d'au moins un parmi un dispositif d'imagerie (17) conçu dans cet appareil électronique, un capteur d'accélération (15) conçu dans cet appareil électronique et un dispositif de détection de position (14) conçu dans cet appareil électronique ; et

    une unité d'authentification d'utilisateur (32) adaptée pour réaliser une authentification d'utilisateur suivant le procédé d'authentification d'utilisateur sélectionné par l'unité de sélection de procédé d'authentification (31),

    caractérisé en ce que la pluralité de procédés d'authentification d'utilisateur comprend au moins une authentification par code de déverrouillage ou une authentification par entrée de motif, et une authentification par empreinte digitale,

    en ce que si un procédé d'authentification d'utilisateur par défaut est une authentification par code de déverrouillage ou une authentification par entrée de motif, alors l'unité de sélection de procédé d'authentification (31) est adaptée (a) pour déterminer si une personne autre qu'un utilisateur enregistré est détectée sur une image photographique obtenue à partir du dispositif d'imagerie (17), et (b1) pour sélectionner une authentification par empreinte digitale si une personne autre qu'un utilisateur enregistré est détectée sur l'image photographique et (b2) pour sélectionner l'authentification par code de déverrouillage ou l'authentification par entrée de motif si une personne autre qu'un utilisateur enregistré n'est pas détectée sur l'image photographique.


     
    2. Appareil électronique selon la revendication 1, dans lequel si un procédé d'authentification d'utilisateur par défaut est une authentification par empreinte digitale, alors l'unité de sélection de procédé d'authentification (31) est adaptée (a) pour déterminer si une accélération qui dépasse une valeur prédéterminée est détectée par le capteur d'accélération (15), et (b1) pour sélectionner une authentification par code de déverrouillage ou une authentification par entrée de motif si une accélération qui dépasse la valeur prédéterminée est détectée et (b2) pour sélectionner l'authentification par empreinte digitale si une accélération qui dépasse la valeur prédéterminée n'est pas détectée.
     
    3. Appareil électronique selon la revendication 1, dans lequel si un procédé d'authentification d'utilisateur par défaut est une authentification par code de déverrouillage ou une authentification par entrée de motif, alors l'unité de sélection de procédé d'authentification (31) est adaptée (a1) pour déterminer si une personne autre qu'un utilisateur enregistré est détectée sur une image photographique obtenue à partir du dispositif d'imagerie (17), et (a2) pour déterminer si une position actuelle détectée par l'unité de détection de position (14) est dans une zone domestique prédéterminée et (b1) si une personne autre qu'un utilisateur enregistré est détectée sur l'image photographique, pour sélectionner une authentification par empreinte digitale si la position actuelle n'est pas dans la zone domestique et pour sélectionner l'authentification par code de déverrouillage ou l'authentification par entrée de motif si la position actuelle est dans la zone domestique et (b2) si une personne autre qu'un utilisateur enregistré n'est pas détectée sur l'image photographique, pour sélectionner l'authentification par code de déverrouillage ou l'authentification par entrée de motif quelle que soit la position actuelle.
