(57) Disclosed are antibodies (immunoglobulins) and fragments thereof that hydrolyze or bind polypeptide antigens belonging to Alzheimer's disease, Staphyloccus aureus, hepatitis C virus, and human immunodeficiency virus. Also disclosed are novel methods to improve the antigen reactivity of the immunoglobulins.
