(57) A multi-functional support element (5) arranged in a preservation compartment (2) of a refrigerator is formed integrally with projections (5B, 5C) for supporting an evaporator plate (4), with two parallel side walls (5M) comprising a series of aligned seats (5P) for supporting removable shelves, and with a channel (5W) for collecting water resulting from the defrosting of the evaporator plate.
