(57) The apparatus comprises an electromagnet (3) for cutting off the fuel supply, controlled
by a control device (7) for detecting the pressure in the induction manifold (5) of
the engine. This control device (7) comprises a rigid casing (10) communicating with
the induction manifold (5) of the engine, an electrical control switch (17, 18) for
the electromagnet (3) having a movable control member (18) in the casing (10), an
aneroid capsule (13) and a capsule (23) having a calibrated hole (24), disposed mechanically
in series in the casing (10). These capsules (13,23) cooperate with each other and
act on the movable member (18) of the switch (17, 18) so that the movements of this
member (18) are substantially equal to the sum of a first movement proportional to
the absolute pressure in the casing (10) (and hence in the induction manifold), and
a second movement substantially proportional to the temporal derivative of the pressure
in the casing (10).
