(54) Open-end yarn piecer


(57) A piecer for a rotor spinning machine can use a seed yarn provided by a broken end on a package or a length of yarn from an auxiliary package. Means is provided to bring both types of seed yarn to a common threading device for threading seed yarn into the machine.
