(57) An ink composition for thermal transfer comprises a coloring matter, a vehicle and
a polyester having a melting point of 50 to 110 degree C, determined by the DSC method
and a number-average molecular weight of 300 to 6,000 and containing 1 to 30 ethylenic
unsaturations.
