(57) In a vehicle wheel, depressed disc portions each form a circular flange at a centre opening from which a hub-simulating cone (32) projects. Bolt openings are formed in islands (37). Each circular flange has an angularly spaced array of indentations (296) extending radially inwardly of said flange. The indentations (296) have radially inwardly oriented and axially extending wheel-mounting surfaces (298) formed on a common cylinder of revolution defining the axis of the centre opening.
