(57) Extension tube assembly for a vacuum cleaner, is disclosed, of which length is adjustable with easy according to a user's height or ambient conditions, including an inner tube (20), an inner sleeve (40) movably fitted on an outer circumference of the inner tube (20) along an axis of the inner tube (20), an outer sleeve (60) rotatably fitted on an outer circumference of the inner sleeve (40) for fixing, or releasing the inner sleeve (40) to/from the inner tube at an arbitrary position along the axis of the inner body in moving the inner sleeve (40) along the axis of the inner tube (20) or fixing the inner sleeve at an arbitrary position along the axis of the inner tube (20), and an outer tube (90) fitted on the outer circumference of the inner sleeve at a rear portion thereof for moving together with the outer sleeve (60) and the inner sleeve (40).
