(57) A freezer, in particular a commercial freeze box for the display and storage of frozen products and provided with transparent lids (1, 2) in connection with a frame (3), comprises a fan assembly (6) capable of passing a flow of air via a duct (7) across the top side of the lids to prevent possible misting on the top side thereof. Forming the frame (3) with an air duct with air nozzles (10) provides a simpler structure which does not interfere with the appearance of the freezer either. In an embodiment, the duct is formed by the upper part of the frame and a transverse partition in it. This additionally results in a more rigid frame which is easier to handle in the production.
