(54) Perfected container for fittings

(57) "PERFECTED CONTAINER FOR FITTINGS", of the type used for the packaging and transport of bathroom, kitchen or similar fittings provided in kits for their subsequent assembly, characterised because it is made from a parallelepiped box (1) of preferably rectangular cross-section with a top cover (2) that can be attached to the box using staples or traditional screws, with partition walls (3) or half-partition walls (4) inside it for containing the fittings to be transported that can be attached to the box by the appropriate means such as by inserting expanded polystyrene or a similar substance (5) into the free interstices in order to secure the parts perfectly, rectangular-shaped slits on the lower lateral faces which serve as handles (6) to be able to grip and move the box and plastic stretch film (8) and packing tape (7) around the container, howerver optionally, the stretch film can be wrapped around two containers, one on top of the other, in such a way that the unit as a whole protects all of the fittings inside it.

Description

[0001] The objective of this invention, as expressed in the statement to this descriptive report, comprises a "PERFECTED CONTAINER FOR FITTINGS", of the type used for packaging and transporting bathroom, kitchen and other fittings that are provided in kits for their subsequent assembly.

[0002] One of the factors which raises the cost of bathroom and similar fittings is, without doubt, the cost of their transport.

[0003] At present, they are transported unassembled and wrapped in plastic hermetic stretch film, to be installed at a later date.

[0004] In this way, it is possible to reduce the bulk of the fittings during transport and facilitate their installation.

[0005] However, this system of packing using plastic stretch film during transport does not protect the packaged fittings sufficiently and any small knocks that may be suffered can result in damage to the fittings.

[0006] Therefore, this descriptive report has been prepared to propose a solution to the aforementioned problems.

[0007] Basically, the new perfected container for fittings is made up of a parallelepiped box of preferably rectangular cross-section, provided with a top cover which can be attached to the box using staples or traditional screws.

[0008] In its interior, the innovative container has partitions or half-partitions for containing the fittings to be transported which can be attached to the box using the appropriate means such as by inserting expanded polystyrene into any free interstices so that all of the parts making up the fittings are perfectly secured.

[0009] On the lower lateral faces, there are rectangular-shaped slits which serve as handles to be able to grip and move the box.

[0010] Finally, once the lid is attached to the container using the appropriate means, it is packed in plastic stretch film with packing tape around it.

[0011] Optionally, the stretch film can be wrapped around two containers, one on top of the other, in such a way that the unit as a whole protects all of the fittings inside it.

[0012] The new perfected container for fittings provides a perfect fit for the unassembled fittings within it to ensure their perfect transport.

[0013] It allows an entire set of bathroom fittings to be contained in one box, or two in the case of large pieces. Because of this system, a wide range of distinct items can be included in the same container, such as marble, mirrors, electrical components, stocks of bolts or screws, polyurethane, lacquered components, connected panels, etc., that is, parts which, due to the characteristics of the packaging that is currently available, have to be transported separately.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DIAGRAMS

[0014] To illustrate everything explained so far, a page of drawings is attached to this descriptive report, forming an integral part of it, representing the invention in a simplified and schematic way. The drawings are intended to be purely illustrative and are not an exhaustive representation of the practical possibilities of the invention.

[0015] In these diagrams, figure 1 represents a view of the innovative container for packing fittings.

[0016] Figure 2 represents a view of the option of using two containers with the plastic stretch film and packing tape around it.

DESCRIPTION OF A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

[0017] The perfected container for fittings is made up of a parallelepiped box (1) of preferably rectangular cross-section, provided with a top cover (2) which can be attached to the box using staples or traditional screws.

[0018] In its interior, the innovative container has partition walls (3) or half-partition walls (4) for containing the fittings during their transport, which can be attached to the box by the appropriate means such as by inserting expanded polystyrene or a similar substance (5) into the free interstices so that all of the parts making up the fittings are perfectly secured.

[0019] On the lower lateral faces, there are rectangular-shaped slits which serve as handles (6) to be able to grip and move the box.

[0020] Finally, once the lid has been fitted to the container by the appropriate means, it is packed in plastic stretch film (8) with packing tape (7) around it.

[0021] Optionally, the stretch film can be wrapped around two containers, one on top of the other, in such a way that the unit as a whole protects all of the fittings inside it.

[0022] Having explained the concept behind the invention, the note of claims is drafted next, thus establishing the inventions which are the subject of the claim.

Claims

1. "PERFECTED CONTAINER FOR FITTINGS", of the type used for the packaging and transport of bathroom, kitchen or similar fittings provided in kits for their subsequent assembly, characterised essentially because it is made from a parallelepiped box of preferably rectangular cross-section with a top cover that can be attached to the box using staples or traditional screws, with partition walls or half-partition walls inside it for containing the fittings to be transported that can be attached to the box by the appropriate means such as by inserting expanded polystyrene or a similar substance into the free interstices in order to secure the parts perfectly, rectangular-shaped slits on the lower lateral faces which serve as handles to be able to grip and move the box and plastic stretch film and packing tape around the container.

2. "PERFECTED CONTAINER FOR FITTINGS", as described in the claim above but with a distinguishing feature in that, optionally, the stretch film can be wrapped around two containers, one on top of the other, in such a way that the unit as a whole protects all of the fittings inside it.
