(57) The napkin consists of an expanded polythene sheet (1) combined with hot pressure
to a cartene sheet (2) so to form an only body (3) with upper face (4) and lower face
(5). Onto said lower face (5) a water glue layer (6) is placed to apply the napkin
onto the surfaces of the container of the drink or similar.

[0001] The invention refers to a new particolar film with superimposed sheets having the
aim to maintain the thermic conditions of the wrapped product. Said thermic insulation
given to the invented napkin is very useful for the users of said napkin such as it
permits to grasp the wrapped container without thermic stress to the touch and to
the hands. These peculiarities have big importance in the food sector and in particular
in the sector of the drink containers. In the catering and in the places where are
supplied food to the counter it important to give to the customer the drinks with
suitable temperature and moreover that this temperature remains stable, i.e. that
the same does not cool down or it warm itself before being drunk. It is known that
usually the customers request drinks with a temperature opposite in comparison with
the room temperature and it is requested a particular temperature for the different
drinks. It is normal the request of cool drinks in the hot period and of hot drinks
in the cool period. These drinks, if they are not immediately drunk, are subject to
heating or cooling given to the heat exchange with the ambiente. The invented napkin
permits to stabilize the temperature of the drink cut off a big part of the container
to the ambient. In this way it comes to give a solution to the problem of the temperature
maintenance for drinks coming from the refrigerant or of the temperature maintenance
of drinks made warm or to stabilize temperatures coming from other ambients. In detail
the invented napkin is wrapped outward to beer or drink tins or to bottles and to
all that forms a container for drinks coming to a refrigerant, to containers for warm
drinks such as glasses or cups for tee, chocolate, coffee, mild or other similar goods
where the invented napking is outwardly wrapped around the containment body or also
for particular value wine bottles that, wrapped in the invented napking at the cellar
temperature, maintain the ideal 1 conditions for the tasting. The invented thermic
napkin consist of an expanded polythene sheet 1 combined with hot pressure to a cartene
sheet 2, i.e. high thickness polythene so to form an only body 3 with upper face 4
and lower face 5. Onto the lower face 5 a water glue layer 6 is placed. Said layer
6 comes to apply itself onto the faces of the container of the drinks contextually
to the dew formation for condensing of the umidy presents in the air on the container
surfaces of the cool drinks put in hot ambient or the container faces are slightly
dampened. Said glue layer comes to make stronger the adhesion action simply obtained
wrapping the invented napkin around the container surfaces of the drinks without air
between the parts interested to the adhesion. Moreover onto the upper face 4 of the
napkin are present spaces 7 for advertising writing which lowers the cost of the invented
napkin so favouring the industrialization such as the production costs are lowered.
In an embodiment of the napkin a paper sheet 8 with advertising writing is inserted
between the sheets 1 and 2 so avoiding to stamp the writings directly on the upper
sheet. In this way is obtained a sequence given to the expanded polythene in the lower
part, paper in the centre and cartene in the upper part combined with hot pressure
and with the presence of water glue onto the lower face. The invented napkin is illustrated
in a merely indicative way and not limiting in the drawings of sheets 1, 2, 3 and
4. In sheet 1 figure 1 is perspective view of the napkin in union phase between the
parts. Figure 2 is lateral view. Figure 3 is upper view with the advertising spaces
7. In sheet 2 figure 4 is perspective view of the invented napkin in the embodiment
with the paper sheet 8. Figure 6 is view from the top. Sheets 3 and 4 are examples
of the different uses in which the invented thermal napkin is suitable. In sheet 3
figure 7 is perspective view of a beer tin or similar one wrapped with the napkin
so to maintain the temperature of what inside it contained before pouring it into
the glass. Figure 8 is perspective view of the use with a wine bottle of particular
value. In sheet 4 the figure 9 is view of an use in the case of hot drinks. Figure
10 is perspective view of the napkin wrapps both to a drink bottle than to the glass
in which the drink will be poured.

sheet (2) so to form an only body (3) with upper face (4) and lower face (5) and where
onto said lower face (5) a water glue layer (6) is placed to apply the body (3) onto
the faces of the container of the drinks.
2. Thermic napkin, as per claim 1, characterized in that on the upper face (4) are present spaces (7) for advertising writings.

the sheets (1,2) so avoiding to stamp the writings directly on the upper sheet.
