(57) A folding door (1) comprising two jambs (2) that are mutually connected in an upper region by a lintel (3) that contains first means (7) for lifting a screen (4), the screen being extendable approximately vertically between the pair of jambs by means of a plurality of stiffening tubes (5) arranged approximately horizontally, sleeves (18) provided with seats (25) for one or more fixed guiding cables (26,27) being slidingly associated with the ends of the tubes (5).
