(54) Mop bucket with drain

(57) The present invention relates to a mop bucket with drain (2) that can be emptied into a toilet (1) without having to lift it from the floor. The mop bucket with drain is characterised in that its base is located at a height sufficiently above floor level to overcome the height of a toilet (1), said base comprising a drainage means (2) that allows emptying the bucket directly into the toilet (1) without having to lift it or turn it.

Description

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a mop bucket with drain that can be emptied into a toilet without having to raise the bucket from the floor.

[0002] The mop bucket with drain is characterised in that its base is located at a height sufficiently above floor level to overcome the height of a toilet, and is provided in said base with a drainage means that allow emptying the bucket directly without having to lift it or turn it.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0003] Mop buckets available in the market are often heavy and unmanageable when they are full of water. This is a great drawback, such as for elderly persons, particularly at the time of emptying the bucket as it is necessary to lift it to the height of the toilet in order to pour the water out.

[0004] The present invention solves this drawback, as it provides an easily portable bucket with a drainage means that makes it unnecessary to lift the bucket to the height of the toilet to empty it.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0005] The present invention consists of a mop bucket with a drain, characterised in that its base is located at a height above the floor greater than the normal height of a toilet, and is provided in said base with a drainage means that allows emptying the bucket directly into the toilet without having to lift it or turn it.

[0006] In order to simplify emptying the bucket, its base has an inclined profile that leads the water towards the drain.

[0007] The bucket disclosed herein is also provided with wheels that simplify its transport.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0008] The present descriptive memory is completed by a set of drawings which illustrate the preferred embodiment, in no way meant to limit the invention.

[0009] Figure 1 is a perspective representation of the mop bucket and a standard toilet.

[0010] Figure 2 is a schematic representation of the mop bucket.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

[0011] The present invention relates to a mop bucket with a drain, characterised in that its base is located at a height sufficiently above floor level to overcome the height of a toilet (1), and is provided with a drainage means (2) that allows emptying the bucket directly into the toilet (1) without having to lift it or turn it.

[0012] The bucket is also provided with wheels (5) that simplify its transport.

[0013] The bucket disclosed herein has drainage means (2) consisting of an orifice made in the base of the bucket, protected by a plug. This drainage orifice can lead outside directly or through a retractile tube (4) which is extended when emptying the bucket and then collected in a space (4.1) provided for such purpose. To allow a proper emptying of the bucket, its base has an inclined profile (3) that leads the water to the drain (2).

[0014] As the bucket is raised above floor level, an empty space is left between its base and the wheels (5) which can be used in several ways. For example, as shown in figure 1, a tray can be placed in said space to hold various items, or a number of compartments and drawers (7) can be installed to house the cleaning utensils.

[0015] The bucket taught is rectangular in shape, with the mop wringer (8) located at the end opposite the drain (2).

[0016] The essence of this invention is not affected by variations in the materials, shape, size, and arrangement of the component elements, which are described in a non-limiting manner that should allow its reproduction by an expert.

Claims
