(57) There is provided an air conditioner. The air conditioner includes a rear cabinet,
a front cabinet, a blower fan, a heat exchanger, and a panel assembly. The front cabinet
is coupled to a front of the rear cabinet, and includes an intake port formed at a
lower side portion thereof and a discharge port formed at an upper side portion thereof.
The blower fan is installed in an inner lower portion of the rear cabinet for suctioning
indoor air. The heat exchanger is installed above the blower fan for exchanging heat
with the suctioned indoor air. The panel assembly is installed on a front of the front
cabinet for interchangeably mounting a picture, photograph, etc.thereto.
