(54)	Electronic driven jacquard apparatus and cassette for use therein

(57) An electronic driven jacquard apparatus includes a cassette (C) having a select head (8) pivotally selectable between a contacting posture contacting a select pin and a non-contacting posture not contacting the select pin (N) in association with a bending movement of an operational member (9) comprised of a piezoelectric body and a retaining pin (12) providing a pivot for the select head, a jacquard machine body for fixedly supporting the cassette (C) and a reciprocating mechanism for reciprocating the jacquard machine body along a longitudinal direction of the select pin. An end (N³) of the select pin (N) facing the select head (8) has a cubically convex shape whereas an end of the select head facing the select pin has a corresponding concave portion for receiving therein the cubically convex end of the select pin (N).
