(57) The invention comprises dispensing devices for active liquids to evenly disperse these liquids in an aqueous environment or into the air, which devices comprise a container for holding the liquid to be dispersed, wherein the container is at least partially made of a porous material and comprises an air inlet opening. The dispensing devices are particularly suitable for delivering cleaning liquids and perfume to the flush water of a toilet bowl, in which case the air inlet opening is constructed in such a way that no water can enter the container during use.
