[0001] The present invention relates to a stopping device suitable to allow stopping of
a door or the like disposed in an open position of the type specified in the preamble
of claim 1 (see for example document
DE-A1-10 2005 039821).
[0002] Current stopping devices for doors and the like allow a door to be maintained in
stable equilibrium in any open position, total or also only partial.
[0003] As it is known, said devices are useful in particular to prevent doors from being
closed by gusts of wind or by other phenomena.
[0004] They are generally realized by wedges specifically disposed under the door or by
door stopping bodies.
[0005] Moreover, stopping devices which are disposed constrained to the door also exist.
These are generally realized by movable plungers placed on the lower portion of the
doors. These plungers are generally movable by means of feet. Prior art stopping devices
have some important drawbacks.
[0006] In fact, they are inconvenient to position, as they are located on the lower portion
of the door.
[0007] A further drawback is given by the fact that known door stopping devices can damage
floors, in particular prestigious parquet floors and the like or can also partially
obstruct passage through the door.
[0008] Moreover, known stopping devices do not always stop the door adequately in the open
position.
[0009] In this situation the technical aim of the present invention is to devise a stopping
device for doors able to substantially overcome the aforesaid drawbacks.
[0010] Within this aim an important object of the invention is to produce a stopping device
for doors and the like which is simple to activate and deactivate. Another important
object of the invention is to obtain a stopping device which does not damage the floors
or supporting surfaces of the door.
[0011] A further object of the invention is to obtain a stopping device which allows adequate
stopping of the door.
[0012] The technical aim and objects specified are achieved by a stopping device for doors
and the like as described in the appended claim 1.

2 and the like, in particular on doors inside a building, on windows and on other elements
yet.

of the door 2 with optimal forces regardless of the distance 20 of the door 2 and

follows.
[0050] In a first example, shown in Figs. 1a-1d, control of the lock 4 remains unchanged
with respect to conventional locks.

1. A stopping device (1) for a door (2) and the like, said door (2) comprising at least
one handle (3) and at least one lock (4), said handle (3) being suitable to control
said lock (4), said stopping device (1) being disposable, by means of said handle
(3), in a stop position, in which it is suitable to allow stopping of said door (2)
disposed in an open position, and in a released position, in which it is suitable
not to interfere with the movement of said door (2), characterized in that said stop position is maintained by means of a stable equilibrium of said handle
(3).
2. The stopping device (1) according to claim 1, wherein said door (2) is movable about
a first direction of rotation (2a) and wherein said device (1) comprises a stop piston
(5) movable by said handle (3) in a manner such that at least one component of said
movement is in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plane on which the surface
supporting said door (2) extends.
3. The stopping device (1) according to claim 2, comprising an elastic element (6) stressable
through said handle (3) and suitable to move said stop piston (5).
4. The stopping device (1) according to claim 3, comprising an actuator (7), rotatable
together with said handle (3).
5. The stopping device (1) according to claim 4, comprising a lever (8), movable by said
actuator (7) and suitable to directly stress said elastic element (6).
6. The stopping device (1) according to claim 5, wherein said lever (8) is in stable
equilibrium in said stop and released positions.
7. The stopping device (1) according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein
said handle (3) is rotatable in a direction of rotation (3a) suitable to allow opening
of said lock (4) by means of a rotation in a first direction and activation of said
stopping device (1) by means of a rotation in a second direction, opposite said first
direction.
8. The stopping device (1) according to one or more of the preceding claims, activatable
independently from said lock (4).
9. The stopping device (1) according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein
the majority of said device (1) is contained inside a lock assembly (18) of standard
dimensions and type.
10. A door (2) comprising a handle (3) and at least one lock (4), said handle (3) being
suitable to control said lock (4), and a stopping device (1) according to one or more
of the preceding claims.
1. Stoppvorrichtung (1) für eine Tür (2) und dgl., wobei genannte Tür (2) mindestens
eine Türklinke (3) und mindestens ein Türschloss (4) umfasst, wobei genannte Türklinke
(3) genanntes Türschloss (4) betätigt, wobei genannte Stoppvorrichtung (1) mittels
genannter Türklinke (3) in einer Sperrstellung, in der sie das Feststellen der genannten
Tür (2) in einer geöffneten Position gestattet und in einer Lösestellung, in der sie
mit der Bewegung der genannten Tür (2) nicht interferiert, zur Verfügung steht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass genannte Sperrstellung durch ein stabiles Gleichgewicht der genannten Türklinke (3)
erhalten bleibt.
2. Stoppvorrichtung (1) nach Anspruch 1, in der genannte Tür (2) um eine Drehrichtung
(2a) beweglich ist und in der genannte Vorrichtung (1) einen Feststellkolben (5) umfasst,
der durch genannte Türklinke (3) derart bewegbar ist, dass mindestens ein Teil der
genannten Bewegung in eine im wesentlichen rechtwinklige Richtung zur ausgedehnten
Fläche, auf der genannte Tür (2) abgestützt ist, erfolgt.
3. Stoppvorrichtung (1) nach Anspruch 2, umfassend ein Federelement (6), das durch genannte
Türklinke beansprucht werden kann und genannten Feststellkolben (5) bewegt.
4. Stoppvorrichtung (1) nach Anspruch 3, umfassend einen Auslöser (7), der zusammen mit
genannter Türklinke (3) drehbar ist.
5. Stoppvorrichtung (1) nach Anspruch 4, umfassend einen Hebel (8), der durch genannten
Auslöser (7) bewegbar ist und der genanntes Federelement (6) direkt beansprucht.
6. Stoppvorrichtung (1) nach Anspruch 5, in der genannter Hebel (8) in genannten Sperrstellungen
und Lösestellungen in stabilem Gleichgewicht ist.
7. Stoppvorrichtung (1) nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprüche, in der genannte
Türklinke (3) in eine Drehrichtung (3a) drehbar ist, welche die Öffnung des genannten
Türschlosses (4) durch eine Drehung in eine erste Richtung und die Auslösung der genannten
Stoppvorrichtung (1) durch eine Drehung in eine zweite zur ersten entgegengesetzten
Richtung ermöglicht.
8. Stoppvorrichtung (1) nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprüche, die unabhängig
von genanntem Türschloss (4) betätigt werden kann.
9. Stoppvorrichtung (1) nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprüche, in der sich
der Großteil der genannten Vorrichtung (1) im Inneren eines Schloss-Systems (18) mit
Standardausmaßen und -typologie befindet.
10. Tür (2), umfassend eine Türklinke (3) und mindestens ein Türschloss (4), wobei genannte
Türklinke (3) genanntes Türschloss (4) betätigt, und eine Stoppvorrichtung (1) nach
einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprüche.

mobile autour d'une direction de rotation (2a) et dans lequel ledit dispositif (1)
comprend un piston d'arrêt (5) mû par ladite poignée (3) de telle sorte qu'au moins
une composante dudit mouvement est en direction sensiblement perpendiculaire au plan
de développement de la surface sur laquelle ladite porte (2) est soutenue.
3. Dispositif d'arrêt (1) selon la revendication 2, comprenant un élément élastique (6)
qui peut être sollicité par ladite poignée (3) et est apte à causer le mouvement dudit
piston d'arrêt (5).
4. Dispositif d'arrêt (1) selon la revendication 3, comprenant un dispositif d'actionnement
(7) qui peut tourner ensemble avec ladite poignée (3).
5. Dispositif d'arrêt (1) selon la revendication 4, comprenant un levier (8) qui peut
être mû par ledit dispositif d'actionnement (7) et est apte à solliciter directement
ledit élément élastique (6).
6. Dispositif d'arrêt (1) selon la revendication 5, dans lequel ledit levier (8) est
en équilibre stable auxdites positions d'arrêt et de dégagement.
7. Dispositif d'arrêt (1) selon une ou plusieurs des revendications précédentes, dans
lequel ladite poignée (3) peut tourner en direction de rotation (3a) apte à permettre
l'ouverture de ladite serrure (4) par une rotation dans un premier sens et l'activation
dudit dispositif d'arrêt (1) par une rotation dans un deuxième sens, opposé audit
premier sens.
8. Dispositif d'arrêt (1) selon une ou plusieurs des revendications précédentes, lequel
peut être activée indépendamment de ladite serrure (4).
9. Dispositif d'arrêt (1) selon une ou plusieurs des revendications précédentes, dans
lequel la plupart dudit dispositif (1) est incluse à l'intérieur d'un groupe serrure
(18) de dimensions et types standards.
10. Porte (2) comprenant une poignée (3) et au moins une serrure (4), ladite poignée (3)
étant apte à commander ladite serrure (4), et un dispositif d'arrêt (1) selon une
ou plusieurs des revendications précédentes.
