BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

1. FIELD OF INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a garbage-containing device according to the preamble of claim 1.

2. RELATED PRIOR ART

[0002] A garbage-containing device of the initially-mentioned type is known from, e.g., EP-A-1172307.

[0003] Disclosed in Taiwanese Patent M261490 is a bin capable of holding a bag. The bin includes an opening at an upper end and two enhanced portions near the upper end. A bag-holding device is installed on the bin. The bag-holding device is made corresponding to the opening. The bag-holding device includes two arched frames. Each of the frames includes two ends each formed with a lug. A fastener is driven into one of the lugs of the frame, a related one of the lugs of the frame and a related one of the enhanced portions. Thus, the frames are pivotally installed on the bin.

[0004] Some problems have been encountered during the use of the bin and the bag-holding device. Firstly, a user must carefully lower the upper edge of the bag and the frames to ensure that the upper edge of the bag wraps the frames. This is inconvenient. Otherwise, the frames might leave the upper edge of the bag because the former might fall while the latter might stay since the weight of the latter might be encountered by the friction between the latter and the bin. Secondly, the upper edge of the bag might be disengaged from the frames after containing some garbage if the depth of the bag is smaller than that of the bin.

[0005] Referring to Fig. 9, a conventional garbage-containing device 120 includes a bin 130, a cover 140, a first ring 150 and a second ring 160. The cover 140 is pivotally installed on the bin 130. The first ring 150 includes an internal flange 151 and an external flange 152. The external flange 152 of the first ring 150 is located on an upper edge of the bin 130. An upper edge 171 of a bag 170 is inserted through the second ring 160 and retroflexed so that the former wraps the latter. The upper edge 171 of the bag 170 and the second ring 160 are located on the internal flange 151 of the first ring 150. Thus, the upper edge 171 of the bag 170 is clamped between the internal flange 151 of the first ring 150 and the second ring 160.

[0006] Some problems have been encountered during the use of the conventional garbage-containing device 120. Firstly, as an independent element, the second ring 160 can easily be lost. Secondly, the upper edge 171 of the bag 170 might be disengaged from the frames 21 and 22 after containing some garbage if the depth of the bag 170 is smaller than that of the bin 130.

[0007] Therefore, the present invention is intended to obviate or at least alleviate the problems encountered in prior art.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

[0008] The present invention provides a garbage-containing device according to claim 1. Further embodiments of the garbage-containing device according to the present invention are described in the dependent claims.

[0009] According to the present invention, a garbage-containing device includes a bin, a first ring and a second ring. The first ring is installed on the bin. The second ring is pivotally installed on the first ring. An upper edge of a bag can be clamped between the first and second rings.

[0010] It is an advantage of the garbage-containing device of the present invention to ensure its integrity since the second ring is pivotally connected to the first ring and hence will not be lost.

[0011] It is another advantage of the garbage-containing device of the present invention to ensure the positioning of the bag since the upper edge of the bag is clamped between the first and second rings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

[0014] Referring to Figs. 1 and 2, there is shown a garbage-containing device 10 according to a first embodiment of the present invention. The garbage-containing device 10 includes a bin 20, a first ring 30, a second ring 40 and a cover 60.

[0015] The bin 20 includes a base 26 and a barrel 27 installed on the base 26. The barrel 27 defines a space 22 and includes an upper edge 25 and a connective portion 21 near the upper edge 25.

[0016] The cover 60 includes two sleeves 62 formed on a lower side and separated by a gap 61 and a lug 63 formed on the lower side.

[0017] The cover 60 is installed on the barrel 27. The connective portion 21 of the barrel 27 is located between the sleeves 61 of the cover 60. A pin 70 is fit in the sleeves 61 of the cover 60 and the connective portion 21 of the barrel 27, thus pivotally installing the cover 60 on the barrel 27.

[0018] A pedal 24 is pivotally installed on the base 26 and, more specifically, between the base 26 and the barrel 27. The pedal 24 includes, at an end, a tread 241 exposed from the base 26 and barrel 27. A rod 23 includes a lower end pivotally connected to an opposite end of the pedal 24 and an upper end formed with two lugs 231 pivotally connected to the lug 63 of the cover 60 by a pin 80.

[0019] The first ring 30 includes a wall 31, an external flange 33 formed on an external side of the wall 31 and an internal flange 34 formed on an internal side of the wall 31. The wall 31 defines a slit 32. There are two lugs 311 formed on an internal side of the wall 31 so that the slit 32 is located between the lugs 311. Each of the lugs 311 is formed with a boss 312. The external flange 33 is installed on the upper edge 25 of the barrel 27.

[0020] The second ring 40 includes two lugs 41 formed on an external side, an abutting portion 43 formed on the external side and a handle 44 formed on an internal side. Each of the lugs 41 defines a recess 411. The abutting portion 43 includes a plurality of teeth 431.

[0021] A lower edge of the second ring 40 is located on the internal flange 34 of the first ring 30. The lugs 41 of the second ring 40 are located between the lugs 311 of the first ring 30. The bosses 312 of the first ring 30 are inserted in the recesses 411 of the second ring 40. Thus, the second ring 40 is pivotally installed on the first ring 30.

[0022] Referring to Fig. 3, the tread 241 of the pedal 24 is trodden so that the cover 60 is lifted. The second ring 40 is lifted by the handle 44. A bag 50 is inserted in the barrel 27 through the second ring 40. An upper edge 51 of the bag 50 is retroflexed so that it wraps the second ring 40.

[0023] Referring to Figs. 4 and 5, the tread 241 of the pedal 24 is released so that the cover 60 is returned. The second ring 40 is released. The upper edge 51 of the bag 50 is clamped between the second ring 40 and the first ring 30 and, more specifically, between the teeth 431 of the abutting portion 43 formed on the external side of the second ring 40 and the internal side of the first ring 30.

[0024] Referring to Figs. 6 through 8, there is shown a garbage-containing device according to a second embodiment of the present invention. The second embodiment is like the first embodiment except two things. Firstly, there is used a bin 90 instead of the bin 20. The bin 90 includes a barrel 110 installed on a base. Secondly, there is used a cover assembly 100 instead of the cover 60. The cover assembly 100 includes a frame 101 installed on the barrel 110 and a cover 103 pivotally installed on the frame 101. The frame 101 defines an opening. A lock 102 is installed on the frame 101. The cover 103 closes the opening defined in the frame 101. A tongue 104 is extended from the cover 103. The cover 103 includes a touch portion 105.

[0025] Referring to Fig. 7, the opening defined in the frame 101 is closed by the cover 103. The tongue 104 is inserted and retained in the lock 102. Thus, the cover 103 is locked to the frame 101.

[0026] Referring to Fig. 8, the touch portion 105 is pushed so that the tongue 104 is released from the lock 102. The cover 103 is lifted from the frame 101. The opening defined in the frame 101 is opened.

[0027] The garbage-containing device according to the present invention exhibits several advantages. Firstly, its integrity is ensured since the second ring 40 is pivotally connected to the first ring 30 and hence will not be lost. Secondly, the bag 50 is firmly positioned since its upper edge 51 is clamped between the teeth 431 of the abutting portion 43 of the second ring 40 and the first ring 30. Thirdly, the structure is simple. Fourthly, the operation is easy.

[0028] The present invention has been described via the detailed illustration of the embodiments. Those skilled in the art can derive variations from the embodiments without departing from the scope of the present invention as defined in the claims.

Claims

1. A garbage-containing device comprising a bin (20; 90), a first ring (30) installed on the bin (20; 90) and a second ring (40) pivotally installed on the first ring (30) so that an upper edge (51) of a bag (50) can be clamped between the first and second rings (30, 40), at least one lung (311) being formed on the first ring (30), and at least one lug (41) being formed on the second ring (40) and pivotally connected to the lug (311) of the first ring (30), wherein two lugs (311) are formed on the first ring (30), and two lugs (41) are formed on the second ring (40) and pivotally connected to the lugs (311) of the first ring (30), characterized in that each of the lugs (311) of the first ring (30) comprises a boss (312) formed thereon, and each of the lugs (41) of the second ring (40) defines a recess (411) for receiving the boss (312) of a related one of the lugs (311) of the first ring (30).

2. The garbage-containing device according to claim 1, wherein one of the first and second rings (30, 40) comprises an abutting portion (43) formed thereon for firm abutment against the upper edge (51) of the bag (50).

3. The garbage-containing device according to claim 2, wherein the abutting portion (43) is formed on the second ring (40).

4. The garbage-containing device according to claim 2, wherein the abutting portion (43) includes a plurality of teeth (431).

5. The garbage-containing device according to claim 1, comprising a cover (60) pivotally installed on the bin (20).

6. The garbage-containing device according to claim 5, wherein the cover (60) comprises two sleeves (62) formed thereon, wherein the bin (20) comprises a connective portion (21) formed thereon and located between the sleeves (62) of the cover (60), wherein the garbage-containing device comprises a pin (70) driven in the connective portion (21) of the bin (20) through the sleeves (62) of the cover (60).

7. The garbage-containing device according to claim 5, comprising a pedal (24) and a rod (23) for connecting the cover (60) to the pedal (24) so that the cover (60) is lifted when the pedal (24) is trodden.

8. The garbage-containing device according to claim 7, wherein the cover (60) comprises at least one lug (63) formed thereon, wherein the rod (23) comprises at least one lug (231) formed thereon and pivotally connected to the lug (63) of the cover (60).

9. The garbage-containing device according to claim 8, comprising a pin (80) fit in the lug (63) of the cover (60) and the lug (231) of the rod (23).

10. The garbage-containing device according to claim 1, comprising a cover assembly (100) installed on the bin (90).

11. The garbage-containing device according to claim 10, wherein the cover assembly (100) comprises a frame (101) installed on the bin (90) and a cover (103) pivotally installed on the frame (101).

12. The garbage-containing device according to claim 11, wherein the frame (101) comprises a lock (102) installed thereon, wherein the cover (90) comprises a tongue (104) installed thereon for releasable insertion in the lock (102) of the frame (101).

13. The garbage-containing device according to claim 12, wherein the cover (90) comprises a touch portion (105) so that the tongue (104) of the cover (90) is released from the lock (102) of the frame (101) when the touch portion (105) of the cover (90) is pushed.

Ansprüche

1. Ein Mülleimer aus einem Behälter (20; 90), der aufgebaut ist aus einem ersten Rahmen (30), der auf dem Mülleimer (20; 90) aufgesetzt ist, und aus einem zweiten Rahmen (40), der drehbar auf dem ersten Rahmen (30) befestigt ist, um eine obere Kante (51) einer Tüte (50) zwischen dem ersten und dem zweiten Rahmen (30, 40) einzuklemmen; mindestens aus einer Lasche (311), die am ersten Rahmen (30) und mindestens aus einer Lasche (41), die am zweiten Rahmen (40) gebildet ist und die drehbar an der Lasche (311) des ersten Rahmens (30) befestigt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwei Laschen (311) am ersten Rahmen (30) und zwei Laschen (41) am zweiten Rahmen gebildet und drehbar an den Laschen (311) des ersten Rahmens (30) befestigt sind, wobei alle Laschen (311) am ersten Rahmen (30) mit einem Buckel (312) und alle Laschen (41) am zweiten Rahmen (40) mit einer Vertiefung (411) für den Buckel (312) von einer der Lasche (311) am ersten Rahmen (30) versehen sind.

2. Der Mülleimer nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass einer der ersten und zweiten Rahmen (30, 40) mit einem anstoßenden Teil (43) versehen ist, mit dem dieser erste oder zweite Rahmen (30, 40) an die obere Kante (51) der Tüte (50) angedrückt wird.

3. Der Mülleimer nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das anstoßende Teil (43) am zweiten Rahmen (40) gebildet ist.

4. Der Mülleimer nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das anstoßende Teil (43) mit mehreren Zähnen (431) versehen ist.

5. Der Mülleimer nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Deckel (60) drehbar am Behälter (20) befestigt ist.

6. Der Mülleimer nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckel (60) mit zwei darauf gebildeten Muffen (62) versehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Behälter (20) mit einem Verbindungsteil (21) zwischen den Muffen (62) des Deckels (60) versehen ist, wobei der Mülleimer aus einem Stift (70) besteht, der mit dem Verbindungsteil (21) des Behälters (20) durch die Muffen (62) des Deckels (60) betätigt wird.

7. Der Mülleimer nach Anspruch 5, aufgebaut aus einem Pedal (24) und einer Stange (23) zum Verbinden des Deckels (60) mit dem Pedal (24), so dass beim Treten auf das Pedal (24) der Deckel (60) angehoben wird.

8. Der Mülleimer nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckel (60) mit mindestens einer darauf gebildeten Lasche (63) geformt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Stange (23) mit einer weiteren darauf gebildeten Lasche (231) versehen und drehbar an der Lasche (63) des Deckels (60) befestigt ist.

9. Der Mülleimer nach Anspruch 8, aufgebaut aus einem Stift (80), der in die Lasche (63) des Deckels (60) sowie in die Lasche (231) der Stange (23) eingepaßt wird.

10. Der Mülleimer nach Anspruch 1, aufgebaut aus einem Deckelaufbau (100), der auf dem Behälter (90) befestigt ist.

11. Der Mülleimer nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckelaufbau (100) aus einem Rahmen (101), der auf dem Behälter (90) befestigt ist, und aus einem Deckel (103) aufgebaut ist, der auf dem Rahmen (101) befestigt ist.

12. Der Mülleimer nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Rahmen (101) aus einem darauf befestigten Riegel (102) aufgebaut ist, wobei der Deckel (90) mit einer darauf gebildeten Zunge (104) zum ausrückbaren Einschieben in den Riegel (102) des Rahmens (101) versehen ist.

13. Der Mülleimer nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckel (90) mit inem Druckknopf (105) versehen ist, um die Zunge (104) des Deckels (90) beim Drücken auf diesen Druckknopf (105) des Deckels (90) aus dem Riegel (102) des Rahmens (101) auszurücken.

Revendications

1. Un appareil contenant des déchets comprenant une poubelle (20; 90), un premier anneau (30) installé sur la poubelle (20; 90) et un second anneau (40) installé de façon pivotante sur le premier anneau (30) de sorte qu'un bord supérieur (51) d'un sac (50) peut être fixé entre le premier et le second anneau (30, 40), au moins une saillie (311) formée sur le premier anneau (30), et au moins une saillie (41) formée sur le second anneau (40) et connectée de façon pivotante à la saillie (311) du premier anneau (30), où deux saillies (311) sont formées sur le premier anneau (30), et deux saillies (41) sont formées sur le second anneau (40) et connectées de façon pivotante aux saillies (311) du premier anneau (30), chacune des saillies (311) du premier anneau (30) comporte un bossage (312) formé là, et chacune des saillies (41) du second anneau (40) définit un évidement (411) pour recevoir le bossage (312) d'une des saillies en relation (311) du premier anneau (30).

2. L'appareil contenant des déchets selon la revendication 1, où l'un des premier et second anneaux (30, 40) comprend une portion en appui (43) formé là comme point d'appui contre le bord supérieur (51) du sac (50).

3. L'appareil contenant des déchets selon la revendication 2, où la portion en appui (43) est formée sur le second anneau (40).

4. L'appareil contenant des déchets selon la revendication 2, où la portion en appui (43) comprend une pluralité de dents (431).

5. L'appareil contenant des déchets selon la revendication 1, comprenant un couvercle (60) installé de façon pivotante dur la poubelle (20).

6. L'appareil contenant des déchets selon la revendication 5, où le couvercle (60) comprend deux manches (62) formées ci-là, où la poubelle (20) comprend une portion connective (21) formée ci-là et située entre les manches (62) et le couvercle (60), où l'appareil contenant des déchets comprend une broche (70) menée dans la portion connective (21) de la poubelle (20) au travers des manches (62) du couvercle (60).

7. L'appareil contenant des déchets selon la revendication 5, comprenant une pédale (24) et une tige (23) pour connecter le couvercle (60) à la pédale (24) de sorte que le couvercle (60) est soulevé lorsque la pédale (24) est actionnée.

8. L'appareil contenant des déchets selon la revendication 7, où le couvercle (60) comprend au moins une saillie (63) formée là, où la tige (23) comprend au moins une saillie (231) formée là et connectée de façon pivotante à la saillie (63) du couvercle (60).

9. L'appareil contenant des déchets selon la revendication 8, comprenant une broche (80) placée dans la saillie (63) du couvercle (60) et la saillie (231) de la tige (23).

10. L'appareil contenant des déchets selon la revendication 1, comprenant un assemblage de couvercle (100) installé sur la poubelle (90).

11. L'appareil contenant des déchets selon la revendication 10, où l'assemblage du couvercle (100) comprend un encadrement (101) installé sur la poubelle (90) et un couvercle (103) installé de façon pivotante sur l'encadrement (101).

12. L'appareil contenant des déchets selon la revendication 11, où l'encadrement (101) comprend un verrouillage (102) installé là, où le couvercle (90) comprend une languette (104) installée là pour pouvoir être libérée d'une insertion dans le verrouillage (102) de l'encadrement (101).

13. L'appareil contenant des déchets selon la revendication 12, où le couvercle (90) comprend une portion tactile (105) de sorte que la languette (104) du couvercle (90) est libérée du verrouillage (102) de l'encadrement (101) quand la portion tactile (105) du couvercle (90) est pressée.
