(54) Force-speed regulated shelf management system next generation

(57) A device for arranging displayed products/articles. The device will optimize a shelf, a cabinet or even in a drawer, anything display like, which carries any kind of product/article to be arranged in a safe and responsible way by using a rail and pusher.

Description

Field of the invention.

[0001] The invention concerns a device for arranging displayed products. The device will optimize a shelf, a cabinet or even in a drawer, anything display like, which carries any kind of product/article to be arranged in a safe and responsible way using this "force & speed regulated shelf managing system".

Background.

[0002] Shelf managing systems is all about positioning products to a specified place, like the front side of a display. Doing this controlled and safe for the user, various problems occur and has to be solved.

[0003] The damped speed which the products must move forward is crucial. This will prevent "ejecting" the displayed product out of the display, causing dangerous situations.

[0004] The forwarding force is maximum when the product is standing still, as in resting position. As the product is starting to move forward the damping force will decrease, as result the movement will be smooth and controlled.

[0005] The damping force is directly connected between the pusher and the rail, while more items will weaken the function.

[0006] The pusher is capable of functioning with off center products. While the pusher is guided on two sides by a U-rails.

[0007] This invention is made to function with all kinds of brands of shelf-systems and works even stand alone. The front side is made to mount simply with various dimensioned fronts. Displayed products are pushed forward along a track towards the specified front. This will stop the product so it can be redisplayed or taken out.

[0008] It's a well known fact that displaying products has to use as less space as possible. So the pusher must be, and is, very compact so no space is wasted. The measurements are almost similar to the simple conventional types.

Summary of the invention.

[0009] The invention is characterized in the main claim, while dependent claims describe other characteristics.

[0010] The purpose of the invention is to achieve a device for managing products on a display.

[0011] Another purpose is the multifunctional type of the invention. It functions with most shelf systems and even standalone, with large and small products and is compact of size.

Detailed description of the preferred embodiments.

[0013] The "shelf management system" shown in the drawings 1 to 3 comprises a rail part 1, and a pusher part 2.

[0014] The rail (no.1) has at the front a multifunctional mounting part (no.3) compromises a special part (no.7) at the bottom side of the rail, this to connect the rail (no.1) to the shelf or display or signing rail (not drawn) At top side of the rail (no.1) there is a front holder (no.5) to attach a front (no.6).

[0015] A specific formed connector (no.4) in rail (no.1) is made to assemble simple and fast the force-spring (no.11) to the rail (no.1).

[0016] In the length along the inside of the rail there is the pinion (no.2) which provide the torque transmission between the damping force (no.12) in the pusher-housing (no.9) and the rail (no.1).

[0017] The safety stop (no. 8) prevents derailing and functions as a fool-proof part to prevent disassembly.

[0018] The force and speed regulator comprises in a pusher-housing (no.9) wherein fitted a spindle (no. 10) with a spring-force (no. 11) and a damper (no.12). Due to it's purpose the force-spring (no.11) and a damper (no.12) can simply be exchanged.

[0019] The pusher-housing is constructed with two u-forms (no.15) for optimized guidance. The pusher-housing (no.9) glides over the specially constructed rail (no.1) to have less friction. It's globular-form (no.13) is constructed in the u-form part (no.14) of the rail (no.1) to have a line contact with the a pusher-housing (no.9) pointing the way it moves.
