(57) To handle currency bills of differing sizes, a bill cassette (45) set removably in a bill recycling unit (20), includes a stage (84) on which bills are placed that moves up and down in the bill cassette (45), regulating members (94-1,94-2,94-3) that push the bills stacked on the stage (84) to a bill conveying direction so as to regulate the bills, and a regulating member driving unit that drives the regulating members (94-1,94-2,94-3) so that the regulating members (94-1,94-2,94-3) push the bills by a distance corresponding to a denomination of the bills.
