(54) Tent covering model planus

(57) SUMMARY:
1.The tent covering "Planus" is an opening PVC roof system for outdoor coverings.
Currently the PVC or fabric roof covering systems must have a slope of at least 6 cm each linear meter to allow the water flowing.
2. The system "Planus" is made by a perimetrical shaped profile suitable to facilitate the flow of water and to accomodate the sliding of winding rollers and the gutters (U-profile) that receive the water. If the roof is opened the PVC stripes are wound on the rollers. When the closing command is actived, the PVC stripes unwind from the rollers by a motor or a winch.
3. With "Planus" model the space necessary to the sliding system installation is slender and visual and environmental little impact.

Description

[0001] 1.in the name of Rescio Pasquale resident in Martano (LE), Viale S. Lucia 33, Italian nationality filed on 04/10/2012. with n LE2012U000017.

INTRODUCTION:

[0002] The tent covering "Planus" is an opening PVC roof system for outdoor coverings.

DESCRIPTION:

[0003] 2.The system is made by a perimetrical shaped profile suitable to receive the flow of water and to accomodate the sliding of winding rollers , the gutters and the movement system.

[0004] The sliding system is positioned on two parallel perimetrical profiles

[0005] If the roof is opened the PVC stripes are wound on the rollers.

[0006] When the closing command is actived, the PVC stripes unwind from the rollers by a motor or 3.a winch.

[0007] The connection among fabric winding rollers- PVC stripes - U profile (gutters) ensure the water flowing in the perimetrical beams by the U profile that act as gutter.

[0008] Currently the PVC or fabric roof covering systems must have a slope of at least 6 cm each linear meter to allow the water flowing.

[0009] 4.With lower slopes there is a risk to create puddles of water, that would affect the structural integrity.

[0010] In fact, with the systems currently on the market (picture A) to make a covering m 6x6, you need at least 36 cm of slope, making it aesthetically rather loose. With Planus system (Picture B) the cover is flat so it is aesthetically and architectural pleasant.

[0011] 5.With Planus the space necessary to the sliding system installation is slender and little impact.

Claims

1. This system allows, due to the introduced innovations, to make coverings with flat roof and to take advantage of all their benefits thanks to the following features:

1.the originality of the winding and unwinding system of the roof, by some spring loaded rollers, is functional regardless of the sliding system used (drawing solution 1 or drawing solution 2)

2. 2.the frame doesn't need to have a side higher than the other one in order to give the necessary slope to the covering, that in the large dimensions is considerable so to affect the architectural aspect.
3.the system needs a space of about 16 cm
4.it allows to cover big and small surfaces by a winding system of the fabric, using some

3. spring loaded windings tubes that wraps stripes of fabrics if they are not in tension and that unwind them if pulled by a special motor or winch to cover the interested surfarce.
5.in the position of closed covering the fabric is unwound
6.in the position of opened coveing the fabric is wrapped
