(57) An opener for fibre in tufts on a carding preparation line comprises a first opener roller (32) having two portions (32a,32b) placed side by side and a centrifugal conduit (42) on each portion (32a,32b) and a second opener roller (52) having two portions (52a, 52b) placed side by side and a centripetal conduit (72) on each portion (52a,52b). Each centrifugal conduit (42) comes out in the respective centripetal conduit (72).
