(54) Method for cleaning an electric filter cell of an air filter


(57) The invention relates to a method for cleaning an air filter's electric filter cell, which comprises determining (220) a threshold value for a parameter relevant to the cleaning of a filter cell and executing (260) the cleaning of the filter cell upon crossing the threshold value of a parameter relevant to the filter cell cleaning. In addition, the invention relates to an air filter, which is capable of cleaning its electric filter cell, and to a ventilation system which includes an air filter capable of cleaning its electric filter cell.
