(57) A pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion provided with an inboard shoulder main
groove, an outboard shoulder groove, and a center main groove provided therebetween,
to form an outboard shoulder portion, an inboard shoulder portion, an inboard middle
portion, and an outboard middle portion, the inboard and outboard middle portions
being formed as ribs respectively, that are provided with only sipes having widths
less than 2.0 mm, wherein the sipes provided on the inboard middle portion include
a full-opened sipe, the sipes provided on the outboard middle portion consisting of
outer semi-opened sipes and inner semi-opened sipes, wherein the number of the inner
semi-opened sipes is smaller than the number of the outer semi-opened sipes.
