OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The object of the present invention lies in a structure of a bed base the configuration of which enables arranging it in an extended position of use, in which the structure is suitable for incorporating a mattress and using it as a bed having conventional dimensions, and keeping it in a folded position when not in use, wherein the structure is retracted and takes up minimum space for easy storage and/or transportation.

FIELD OF APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION

[0003] The field of application of the present invention lies within the sector of industry dedicated to the manufacture of folding furniture, specifically for camping and/or the car, particularly focused within the field of bed and bed base structures that fold thus taking up less space than when in position of use.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0004] Examples of known beds and folding bed structures are disclosed in CN 2488393 Y and ES 1012348 U.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0005] The present invention provides a folding bed base as defined in claim 1. Preferred features of the invention are set out in the dependent claims.

[0006] Specifically, as mentioned above, the invention proposes a bed base, the structure of which has a configuration intended to enable arranging it in an extended position of use, in which it is suitable for incorporating the mattress, and in a folded position for storage and/or transportation, in which it occupies minimum space.

[0007] To this end, said structure of the bed base essentially comprises a plurality of slats which are grouped into two main portions, each of which, in turn, is formed by two groups of slats that are inserted between each other such that, because of the extension or retraction of said slats, they can be moved to bring them closer together or separate them from one another, causing the width of the bed base to expand to the required dimensions of use or shrink to half of such dimensions when the slats are completely interlaced with each other.

[0008] In addition, the mentioned two main portions in which the slats are grouped, which determine the upper and lower halves of the bed base, by means of their coupling to two frames, articulately connected in this case, may be placed one on top of the other, once the slats have been laterally interlaced, as described above, whereby the dimensions of the bed base now take up a quarter of its size in the extended position of use.

[0009] Finally, the structure is supported on six legs, also formed by telescopic tubes, which enables regulating the height thereof, these tubes being attached to the tubes that support the two portions of the slats by means of easily removable joints, thus, they may easily be removed in order to achieve the final folding of the bed base.

[0010] It should be noted that, preferably, the fixings of the position of all the telescopically extendable tubes are provided with knobs that facilitate manual torque, making it unnecessary to use tools for mounting and dismounting the bed base.

Figures 3 and 4 show a perspective view of the bed base of the invention in respective phases of folding, distinguishing the disposition of its parts in order to adopt said position; and

Figures 5 and 6 show plan and elevation views of the bed base, in fully folded position.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

[0012] In light of the aforementioned figures, and in accordance with the adopted numbering, one may observe therein a non-limiting embodiment of the bed base of the invention, which comprises the parts and elements indicated and described in detail below.

[0013] Thus, as seen in said figures, the bed base (1) in question, formed conventionally by multiples slats (2) made of wood or similar material, transversally arranged in a metal frame (3) with legs (4), is differentiated by the fact that said frame (3) is divided into two equal portions, an upper portion (3a) corresponding to the head end and the lower portion (3b) corresponding to the foot end of the bed.

[0014] In each of these two portions (3a, 3b) of the frame, the slats (2) are incorporated on fixed longitudinal tubes (31) and telescopically extendable transversal tubes (32) of the frame (3), grouped into two movable and symmetrical assemblies (21) where the separations or spaces (5) between slats (2) coincide with the width of these, such that the slats (2) of the two assemblies are inserted between each other, and through the extension or retraction of said telescopically extendable tubes (32), said movable assemblies (21) can be moved to bring them closer together or separate them from one another, determining the width of the bed base (1) and achieving the dimensions necessary for use in the extended position, as shown in Figures 1 and 2, or reducing it to half the size in the folded position, as shown in Figures 3 to 5.

[0015] Preferably, each movable assembly (21) of slats (2), movable in order to be inserted with the opposing assembly, has two longitudinal strips (22), which join them to each other at their distal ends.

[0016] Tending to Figures 3 to 6, it can be observed that the two portions (3a and 3b) of the frame (3) are joined together by means of two extendable longitudinal tubes (33), which are articulately joined to the fixed longitudinal tubes (31) of each part, enabling to position one of said portions on the other, namely, the lower portion (3b) on the upper portion (3a), once the slats (2) of both portions are interlaced and in their narrowest position, as described above, reducing the dimensions of the bed base to one quarter of its size, as shown in Figure 5.

[0017] As for the legs (4) they are also made up of vertical telescopic tubes (41), so that they can be adjusted in height, and they are joined by easily removable joints to the tubes of the frame (3), allowing them to be dismounted for the final folding of the bed base. Preferably, said legs (4), once dismounted, are housed in the recesses (34) available in the edges of the head and foot end of each upper portion (3a) and lower portion (3b) of the frame (3).

[0018] Preferably, the fastenings of all the tubes of the frame (3) are threaded fastenings provided with manual torque knobs (6), that therefore do not require the use of tools for mounting and dismounting the bed base (1).

[0019] Ultimately, the bed base (1) of the invention comprises a structure of multiple slats (2) arranged transversally in a frame (3) with legs (4), the configuration of which is suitable for arranging it in an extended position of use in order to incorporate a mattress, and in a folded position for storage and/or transportation, in which it takes up much less space, being differentiated by the fact that said frame (3) is divided into two equal portions (3a, 3b), that may be folded over one another, and wherein the slats (2) of each portion are grouped into two symmetrical movable assemblies (21), transversally movable in order to bring them closer together or separate them from one another, which are mounted on the structure of the frame (3), once mounted and extended determining the width of the bed base (1) in order to achieve the necessary dimensions for use in an extended position or to reduce it to half its size in the folded position.

Claims

6. The folding bed base, according to claim 5, characterized In that the legs (4), once dismounted, are housed In recesses (34) available in the edges of the head end and the foot end of each upper (3a) and lower portion (3b) of the frame (3).

7. The folding bed base, according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the fastenings of all the tubes of the frame (3) are threaded fastenings provided with manual torque knobs (8).

Ansprüche

1. Klappbettbasis (1)
bestehend aus einer Struktur von mehreren Latten (2) aus Holz oder ähnlichem Material, transversal in einem Metallrahmen (3) mit Beinen (4) angeordnet, deren Gestaltung zum Anordnen davon in einer ausgezogenen Verwendungsposition zur Aufnahme einer Matratze, und in einer eingeklappten Position zur Aufbewahrung und/oder zum Transport geeignet ist, bei der sie einen minimalen Raum einnimmt, wobei der Rahmen (3) in zwei gleiche Abschnitte (3a, 3b) geteilt ist, die übereinander einklappbar sind, und wobei die Latten (2) jedes Abschnitts in zwei symmetrisch bewegliche Anordnungen (21) unterteilt sind, die transversal beweglich sind, um sie einander anzunähern oder voneinander zu trennen, wobei die Breite der Bettbasis (1) bestimmt wird und die notwendigen Abmessungen zur Verwendung in einer ausgezogenen Position erreicht werden oder diese auf die Hälfte ihrer Größe in der eingeklappten Position reduziert wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zwei Abschnitte (3a und 3b) des Rahmens (3) durch zwei ausziehbare Längsrohre (33) miteinander verbunden sind, die gelenkig mit den festen Längsrohren (31) jedes Abschnitts (3a, 3b) verbunden sind.

2. Klappbettbasis nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Rahmen (3) in einen oberen Abschnitt (3a), der dem Kopfende entspricht, und einen unteren Abschnitt (3b), der dem Fußende entspricht, geteilt ist.

3. Klappbettbasis nach Anspruch 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in jedem der zwei Abschnitte (3a, 3b) des Rahmens die Latten (2) auf festen Längsrohren (31) und teleskopartig ausziehbaren transversalen Rohren (32) aufgenommen sind, die in die zwei symmetrisch beweglichen Anordnungen (21) unterteilt sind, wobei die Abstände oder Räume (5) zwischen den Latten (2) mit der Breite davon übereinstimmen, sodass die Latten (2) der zwei Anordnungen zwischeneinander eingeführt werden.

4. Klappbettbasis nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jede bewegliche Anordnung (21) der Latten (2) eine Längsleiste (22) hat, die sie an ihren distalen Enden miteinander verbindet.

5. Klappbettbasis nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Beine (4) durch vertikale teleskopische Rohre (41) gebildet sind, die in ihrer Höhe einstellbar sind, und die durch lösbare Verbindungen miteinander mit den Rohren des Rahmens (3) gekoppelt sind.

6. Klappbettbasis nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Beine (4), sobald sie demontiert sind, in Aussparungen (34) aufgenommen sind, die in den Kanten des Kopfendes und des Fußendes von jedem oberen (3a) und unteren Abschnitt (3b) des Rahmens (3) verfügbar sind.

7. Klappbettbasis nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Befestigungen aller Rohre des Rahmens (3) Gewindebefestigungen sind, die mit manuellen Drehknöpfen (6) bereitgestellt sind.

Revendications

1. Sommier pliant (1) consistant en une structure de multiples lattes (2) de bois ou d'un matériau similaire, disposées transversalement dans un cadre métallique (3) avec des pieds (4), dont la configuration est adaptée pour le disposer en une position d'utilisation déployée afin d'incorporer un matelas, et en une position pliée pour le stockage et/ou le transport dans laquelle il occupe un minimum d'espace, où ledit cadre (3) est divisé en deux parties égales (3a, 3b), pliables l'une sur l'autre, et dans lequel les lattes (2) de chaque partie sont regroupées en deux assemblages mobiles symétriques (21), transversalement mobiles afin de les rapprocher ou de les séparer l'une de l'autre, déterminer la profondeur du sommier (1) et atteindre les dimensions nécessaires à l'utilisation en position déployée ou le réduire à la moitié de sa taille en position pliée, caractérisé en ce que les deux parties (3a et 3b) du cadre (3) sont reliées ensemble au moyen de deux tubes longitudinaux extensibles (33), qui sont reliés de façon articulée aux tubes longitudinaux fixes (31) de chaque partie (3a, 3b)

2. Sommier pliable selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le cadre (3) est divisé en une partie supérieure (3a), correspondant à la tête, et une partie inférieure (3b), correspondant au pied.

3. Sommier pliable selon la revendication 1 et 2, caractérisé en ce que dans chacune des deux portions (3a, 3b) du cadre, les lattes (2) sont incorporées dans des tubes longitudinaux fixes (31) et dans des tubes transversaux (32) extensibles de manière télescopique regroupés dans les deux assemblages mobiles symétriques (21) dans lesquels les séparations ou espaces (5) entre les lattes (2) coïncident avec la profondeur de celles-ci, de sorte que les lattes (2) des deux assemblages sont insérées entre elles.

4. Sommier pliable, selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que chaque assemblage mobile (21) de lattes (2) a une baguette longitudinale (22) qui les relie ensemble à leurs extrémités distales.

5. Sommier pliable, selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les pieds (4) sont formés par des tubes télescopiques verticaux (41), ajustables en taille, et couplés entre eux au moyen de joints amovibles aux tubes du cadre (3).

6. Sommier pliable, selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que les pieds (4), une fois démontés, sont logés dans des renfoncements (34) disponibles aux coins de la tête et du pied de chaque partie supérieure (3a) et inférieure (3b) du cadre (3).

7. Sommier pliable, selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que les éléments de serrage de tous les tubes du cadre (3) sont des éléments de serrage filetés pourvus de boutons de serrage manuel (6).
