| (57) Provided is a strap that prevents handles from slipping down from the shoulder. The
strap (1) is capable of being hooked, from the front side and the back side of a user,
on the handles (52) of a bag hung over the shoulder by passing under the armpit on
a side opposite to the side where the handles (52) are. Preferably, the strap (1)
has a first engagement portion (21, 31) provided on at least one end portion and a
second engagement portion (22, 32) provided at a location different from the first
engagement portion (21, 31) and capable of engaging with the first engagement portion
(21, 31), and the handles (52) pass through the inner sides of rings formed by engagement
between the first engagement portion (21, 31) and the second engagement portion (22,32),

Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a strap for a bag with handles which can be hung over the shoulder.
Background Art
[0002] For a bag attached with handles which can be hung over the shoulder, the handles of the bag may slip down from the shoulder when being hung over the shoulder. With respect to this problem, the applicant of the present invention has so far proposed a bag with a structure in which the handles of the bag and a bottom are connected by a strap (for example, patent literature 1 or patent literature 2).

Summary of Invention
Technical Problem
[0004] As for the bags described in patent literature 1 and patent literature 2, the bag is arranged on the back side of a user. However, if the bag is on the back, the bag has to be put down to take contents out and it is inconvenient sometimes. In addition, in a crowded train, if the bag is arranged on the back side, it will become nuisance for other passengers.
[0005] In view of the above-described circumstances, the present invention aims to provide a strap which prevents handles from slipping down from the shoulder without interfering with convenience and a bag provided with the strap.
Solution to Problem
[0006] The strap of the present invention for solving the above-described aim is
a strap capable of being hooked, from the front side and the back side of a user, on handles of a bag hung over the shoulder by passing under the armpit on a side opposite to the side where the handles are.
[0007] According to the strap, it is hard for the handles hung over the shoulder to slip down even if the bag is not arranged on the back side of the user.
[0008] In addition, the strap may include:
a first engagement portion provided on at least one end portion, and
a second engagement portion provided at a location different from the first engagement portion and capable of engaging with the first engagement portion; and
the strap is capable of being hooked on the handles by passing through inner sides of rings formed by engagement between the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion.

[Embodiment of strap]
[0030] First, one example of the strap of the present invention is described using Figure 1. Figure 1 is a diagram showing one embodiment of the strap of the present invention.
[0031] A strap 1 of the embodiment shown in Figure 1 is equivalent to one example of the strap of the present invention. In the strap 1, at each of end portions 2, 3, concave portions 21, 31 and convex portions 22, 32 of snap buttons are provided with space. The end portions 2, 3 can be formed into rings by fastening the concave portions 21, 31 and the convex portions 22, 32 at each of the end portions 2, 3. In addition, a length adjustment component 4 is provided on the strap 1, and the length of the strap 1 can be adjusted by changing the location of the length adjustment component 4.
[0032] Next, the usage of the strap 1 shown in Figure 1 is described using Figure 2 to Figure 4. Figure 2 is a front view showing one example of a bag attached with the strap 1 shown in Figure 1. Furthermore, as shown in Figure 3, the handles 52 are respectively attached to an outer surface side and an inner surface side of the bag body 51.

Specifically, the strap 1 is used by passing under the armpit on a side opposite to a side where the handles 52 are, and respectively wrapping the two end portions 2, 3 around the handles 52 from the front side and the back side of a user. At this moment, the two end portions 2, 3 of the strap 1 become rings by fastening each of the concave portions 21, 31 and the convex portions 22, 32, and the handles 52 are in a state of passing through the inner sides of the rings. The state is also a state in which the rings of the end portions 2, 3 of the strap 1 are hooked on the handles 52. Furthermore, Figure 4 shows a state in which the handles 52 are hung over the left shoulder, and the same also applies to the state in which the handles 52 are hung over the right shoulder.

For example, if the strap 1 is used when the user is riding a bicycle, the handles of the bag can be prevented from slipping down from the shoulder, and after the user gets off the bicycle, the strap 1 can be removed to use the bag only, so that applications of the bag can be expanded.

[About configuration of end portions]
[0041] As for the strap 1 shown in Figure 1, although the configuration in which the snap buttons are provided on the two end portions 2, 3 is described, the configuration is not limited to the snap buttons and may be, for example, a configuration in which a combination of hook surfaces and loop surfaces of hook-and-loop fasteners or a combination of pins and holes into which the pins can be inserted is provided. That is, the configuration may be the combination which is capable of engagement and in which rings that allow the handles to pass through are formed in the engagement state. Furthermore, the combination is equivalent to one example of a first engagement portion and a second engagement portion of the present invention.
[0042] In a state that the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion are engaged, other components serving as stoppers can also be provided so that the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion do not loosen or the rings are maintained even if the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion loosen. However, for example, in the strap 1 shown in Figure 1, only the movement of the handles 52 is limited, and even if the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion loosen, the bag 5 does not immediately fall down. In addition, from the point of appearance of the bag 5, constant use of the strap 1 may be avoided. On such an occasion, for example, like the concave portion 21 and the convex portion 22 of the strap 1, for the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion, it is preferable that the engagement is loosened and the rings are no longer formed simultaneously by simply applying a force in a direction in which the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion are pulled out.

[About how strap is hooked to handles]
[0048] In the description of Figure 4, the hooking of the strap 1 shown in Figure 1 on the handles 52 is described, but the hooking position is not specifically mentioned. However, wherever the hooking position is, the effect of preventing the slipping down from the shoulder works. This is described below using Figure 8. Figure 8 is a schematic view showing an example of how the strap is hooked.

For example, when the hook portions 6 are adopted for the end portion 2, the end portion 2 of the strap 1 is folded back at the handles 52, and the hook portions 6 of the end portion 2 are hooked on the strap 1, and thereby the handles 52 can pass through the inner sides of the rings formed in the strap 1.

For example, comparing the occasion of Figure 8 (A) with the occasion of Figure 8 (B), the strap needed on the latter occasion is longer. In other words, by varying the hooking manner of the strap 1, the strap 1 can be fitted to the body of the user to some extent without using the length adjustment component 4. Therefore, the length adjustment component 4 is not necessary, but in order to match the body of the user, it is preferable that there is a length adjustment component 4. In addition, the length adjustment component 4 is not limited to the configuration of the strap 1 shown in Figure 1, for example, by using elastic components such as rubbers or the like in materials of the strap 1, the part of the elastic components may be used as a length adjustment component.
[About form of adding configuration to bag]
[0057] In the strap 1 of the embodiments described above, the configuration is described in which the strap 1 is hooked, from the front side and the back side of the user, on the handles 52 capable of being hung over the shoulder. In the configuration, as long as the handles of the bag can be hooked from the shoulder, no other configuration is required. However, when the configuration in which the strap is attached to the bag side is adopted to make a bag having a strap, the same effect can also work.
[0058] For example, the convex portion 22 provided on the end portion 2 of the strap 1 shown in Figure 1 may be provided on the handles 52 of the bag 5 shown in the Figure 2 instead of on the strap 1, and the handles 52 and the strap 1 can be connected. In addition, similar to the configuration of hooking the strap on the handles of the bag, in a configuration of the bag in which the handles and one end of the strap are fixed so as not to be separated, the handles can also be prevented from slipping down from the shoulder.
[0059] The configuration above are the configurations in which the strap, which is provided from "the front side and the back side of the user by passing under the armpit on the side opposite to the side where the handles hung over the shoulder are", is mounted in a manner different from the strap 1 shown in Figure 1 by adding the configuration to the handles of the bag attached with the strap. In this state, shaking of the bag body can be suppressed; as a result, the handles can be prevented from slipping down from the shoulder. Furthermore, the configuration in which the bag bottom and the strap can be connected is not limited to the above-described examples, for example, a configuration the same as the previously mentioned configuration capable of connecting the handles of the bag and the strap can be adopted. In addition, when legs are provided in the corners of the bag bottom, parts thinner than other parts are formed in one portion of shafts of the legs, and components engageable with the shafts are provided in the two ends of the strap, and thereby the bag bottom and the strap can also be connected. As described above, by providing the connecting portions capable of connecting the strap to the bag bottom, the shaking of the bag can be further suppressed, and the handles can be prevented from slipping down from the shoulder.
