FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of air conditioning, in particular
to a pipe protecting support and an air conditioner.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] The air duct of the air conditioner (indoor unit) is easily polluted, which otherwise
affects the environmental quality. In order to clean the air conditioner, an air conditioner
that is easy to clean is currently being developed. To this end, the middle frame
of the air conditioner can be designed to be easily removed from the base, and the
base can be split into an upper base and a lower base, so as to realize the cleaning
of the interior of the air conditioner.
[0003] In the process of cleaning the air conditioner, first the middle frame of the air
conditioner is removed from the upper base and the lower base, and then the lower
base is removed from the upper base; however, the upper base is fixed on the wall
through a wall-mounted plate, i.e., in the process of cleaning the air conditioner,
it is only necessary to remove the base to clean the internal components
[0004] However, a bundle of pipelines is provided on the back of the joint between the upper
base and the lower base, which includes a connecting pipe, a drain pipe, a power cord
and the like. The connecting pipes, the drain pipes, the power cords, etc. need to
be wrapped with waterproof tape and insulation pipes to form the pipeline bundle,
which is connected to the connecting pipes and power cords of the external machine
through knockout holes. During the disassembly of the lower base, there is friction
between the back of the lower base and the pipeline bundle due to relative movement,
and repeated removal and mounting of the lower base can easily cause the insulation
pipes around the connecting pipes to be worn out (pipe cutting phenomenon), so that
the insulation effect becomes worse, and even the outer walls of the connecting pipes
generate condensation. In addition, the pipeline bundle is a small rigid, non-fixed
structure, whose position is easily biased by the lower base during the disassembly
and mounting of the lower base, which increases the difficulty of mounting and removal.

cavity 8, and the side wall of the flared structure 22 is a smooth arc surface.
[0042] With reference to Fig. 7, when the air conditioner 1 is mounted, the process includes
steps of:
Step S701: mounting fixedly the wall-mounted plate 4 onto a wall of a room.
[0043] Specifically, in the step S701, a surface of the wall is vertical, and the wall-mounted
plate 4 is arranged to fit the wall surface, which is also in the vertical direction.
The wall-mounted plate 4 may be fixed and mounted on the wall in various ways. In
this embodiment, the wall-mounted plate 4 is fixed on the wall by means of screwing.
[0044] Step S702: assembling the upper base 2, the lower base 3, the pipeline bundle 20
and the pipe protecting support 5 to form an air conditioner assembly.
[0045] Specifically, the step S702 includes three steps of:
Step S7021: inserting two barb-shaped rotation portions 9 into two rotation cavities
14 respectively, so that the rotation portion 9 is rotatably connected to the rotation
part 10, to form a connection between the pipe protecting support 5 and the upper
base 2.
[0046] Step S7022: connecting the upper base 2 to the lower base 3, and receiving the pipeline
bundle 20 of the air conditioner 1 into the pipe protecting cavity 8.
[0047] The sequence of the steps S7021 and S7022 is not specifically limited, and the assembly
of the air conditioner assembly is completed by completing the above two steps.
[0048] In the present embodiment, the step S702 is completed before leaving the factory,
i.e., the assembly of the air conditioner assembly is implemented in the factory,
and then shipped to the factory. In this way, the step S702 needs to be performed
before the step S701. But it is not limited to this, the step S702 may also be completed
by the user. Therefore, the step S701 may also be performed before step S702, and
the sequence of the steps S701 and S702 is not specifically limited.
[0049] Step S703: mounting the air conditioner assembly onto the wall-mounted plate 4.
[0050] Specifically, the step S703 includes steps of:
Step S7031: first hanging flippably the upper base 2 onto the wall-mounted plate 4,
at which time the air conditioner assembly is inclined at a certain angle with respect
to the wall-mounted plate 4.
[0051] Step S7032: then rotating the air conditioner assembly to be attached to the wall-mounted
plate 4 until the two buckles 15 are buckled with the two clamp grooves 16 respectively
to complete a connection between the pipe protecting support 5 and the wall-mounted
plate 4, during which process the lower base 3 is latched with the wall-mounted plate
4.
[0052] In order to clean the air duct assemblies in the air conditioner 1, the lower base
3 usually has to be removed separately. When the lower base 3 is disassembled, the
upper base 2 is flipped upward, and a bottom of the upper base 2 displaces towards
one side away from the wall-mounted plate 4, then the rotation portion 9 rotates relative
to the rotation part 10 and the mounting member 7 is driven by the upper base 2 to
deform to also displace to one side away from the wall-mounted plate 4, so that an
exit space of the lower base 3 is larger, which is convenient for removing the lower
base 3 from the wall-mounted plate 4; and then, the lower base 3 is split from the
upper base 2 to complete the separate removal of the lower base 3. During the above
process, no cuts will be exerted on the pipeline bundle 20 in the pipe protecting
cavity 8.
[0053] In the pipe protecting support 5 of the embodiments of the present invention, a pipe
protecting member 6 is provided inside with a pipe protecting cavity 8 for receiving
a pipeline bundle 20, the pipe protecting member 6 is connected to a mounting member
7, the pipe protecting member 6 is used to be detachably connected to a wall-mounted
plate 4, and the mounting member 7 is used to be rotatably connected to an upper base
2. Compared to the prior art, the pipe protecting support 5 of the present invention
may prevent the pipe cutting phenomenon during mounting and disassembly of the air
conditioner due to the adoption of the pipe protecting member 6 provided with the
pipe protecting cavity 8 and the mounting member 7 rotatably connected to the upper
base 2, and may be easily to mount and disassembly, so that the process of maintenance
is simple, and time and effort are saved while having good safety performance. Therefore,
during the mounting and separate disassembly of the lower base 3 for the air conditioner
1 mounted with the pipe protecting support 5, no cuts will occur, which is safe and
reliable in operation.
