Paper-like fibre product and method of manufacturing such a product |
(57) A fibre product, e.g. paper or the like, and a method of manufacturing such product.
Besides organic fibres this also contains inorganic fibres, a binding-agent, at least
in part in the form of compounds of silicic acid and sodium or potassium, and carbamide
and/or propyiene glycol. By this method water-glass and mineral wool fibres are added
to a suspension of treated cellulose fibres. After further treatment, e.g. the admixture
of size, dyestuff, filler and thickener, the suspension and its additives is dried
and pressed to obtain the final product.
