(57) A weapon system of the expendable type comprising both an ammunition part (1) having
a barrel (3), ammunition and a fuze means (10, 11), and a weapon part (2) having a
firing mechanism (12) and a sighting mechanism (13). The weapon part (2) is designed
for being connected to a connection means (9) of the ammunition part (1) and to be
locked (41) in such connected position. The firing mechanism (12) of the weapon part
(2) comprises several coacting catches (27, 37; 39,41; 39, 42; 29,32) for preventing
any type of shooting by misadventure.
