(57) Electrophotographic process in which a charge pattern is formed on a photoconductive
element comprising a charge generating pigment-binder layer and a smooth charge-conveying
top layer and the charge pattern is developed with a one-component developing powder
of which the particles have a specific resistance exceeding 10
11Ohm.m. Preferably the electrophotographic process is performed on a photoconductive
element comprising a charge generating pigment-binder layer which is composed of a
dispersion of an azo dye in a charge-transfer-complex of a polyvinyl carbazole and
a nitrated fluorene derivative.
