(57) A drawing frame for webs of textile fibres having a rotary comb head defining two
sets of needles intersecting_in the zone of treatment of the web of textile fibres,
is provided with a cleaning device for cleaning the combs of the two sets of needles,
which comprises a source of compressed air (52), means (46,50) for supplying the compressed
airtothe interior of each set of needles (24), and means (14,30) for directing the
compressed air between the combs (20) of each set of needles (24) in the form of an
elongate jet directed outwardly in a substantially radial direction (A), preferably
parallel to the direction of displacement (A) of the web to be treated.
