(54) Method and apparatus for manufacturing girdles or the like


(57) A method and apparatus for manufacturing latex girdles wherein fabric liners (126) are applied to latex sheaths as a part of the overall girdle production operation. The process involves preparing sheaths, attaching the fabric liners (126) to the sheaths and further processing sheath and liner (126) to eliminate flaws such as wrinkles. The process may be automatic and the apparatus enables a precisely controlled operation.
