(54) Improved silencer and process for its manufacture


(57) An improved silencer has its baffles (1) joined to the pipes (3) by means of seaming and possible heading of them against the edges (2) of the baffle holes, this process removing the necessity of any welding operation on the silencer with great reduction of manufacturing costs and possibility of using unskilled labor for making the silencer.
