(57) Multi-layer silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material suitable for
miniaturized photographic images because of the image sharpness and insensitivity
to formaldehyde vapor has, furthest from the support, its green-sensitive emulsion
layer, covered with a protective layer functioning also as a yellow filter layer,
said green-sensitive emulsion layer comprising a magenta coupler having the formula
(1), (II), (III), (IV) or (V):
wherein R1 and R2 each represents alkyl, aryl, heterocyclic ring amino, acylamino, hydroxy, alkoxy,
alkylthio, carboxy, or an esterified carboxy radical; R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a coupling-off radical; Cp represents a blocking coupler
radical which, after the reaction thereof with the oxidation product of a color developing
agent, produces a colorless or alkali-soluble reaction product.
