(57) The water resistance exhibited during the curing of certain moisture curable RTV
polyorganosiloxane compositions containing calcium carbonate fillers is significantly
increased by treating the calcium carbonate with a hydrophobicizing agent selected
from cationic surfactants, nonionic surfactants having HLB values of 10 or less, and
organosilanes.
