Colored anhydrous hydrophobic compositions for cosmetic, medicinal and like purposes,
and their production |
(57) Compositions having an anhydrous, hydrophobic matrix, such as antiperspirants, are
colored by incorporating into the matrix a water-soluble dyestuff which is intimately
associated with a water-soluble solid, for example the antiperspirant itself. These
latter materials may be mixed in aqueous solution and dried and powdered before incorporation
into the anhydrous hydrophobic matrix.
