(54) Printing bar-code labels


(57) A printing material set for preparing bar-code labels by pressure-sensitive printing comprises (a) a printing tape (1) carrying on the inside surface thereof microcapsules (2) containing a solution of a colored dyestuff and (b) bar-code label paper or papers (3) having an adhesive (4) on the undersurface thereof to which adhesive (4) a tape (5) which carries said bar-code label paper or papers (3) is removably attached. The upper surface of the bar-code label paper or papers (3) faces the microcapsules (2) on the printing tape (1) and the printing tape (1) and bar-code label paper or papers (3) are pressed together to break those microcapsules which contact with the bar-code label paper or papers (3).
