A method and apparatus for heating liquid |
(57) A method and apparatus for providing an instantaneous supply of heated liquid on
demand is disclosed. The novel method of the invention includes the step of feeding
liquid to be heated to a heating chamber (1) wherein the flow of incoming liquid enters
the chamber substantially and uniformly over the base (20) of the heating elements
(4) within the chamber. The novel apparatus of the invention includes a heating chamber(1)
having a liquid dispersing means (18) at the inlet (2) for dispersing the flow of
incoming liquid throughout a substantial portion of the flow cross-section of the
heating chamber.
