(54) Gas actuated pistol


(57) A gas actuated pistol with a barrel unit defining a path for gases present proximate a breach end of the barrel unit to an open end below the bore of the barrel unit proximate the unit's muzzle end. The barrel unit of the pistol includes front locking means with recesses designed to accommodate side walls of the front end of a frame unit which forms part of said pistol.
