(57) A compressor (K1, K2, K3, K4) including a fixed member (11, 40, 42) formed with a
plurality of suction ports (15, 17) and discharge port (22) for refrigerant, a movable
member (12, 14) movable relative to the fixed member (11, 40, 42), a valve (25, 66)
provided with a member (54) made of shape memory alloy, and a power source (68) for
supplying electric power to the member (54) such that the valve (25, 66) opens or
closes one (17) of the suction ports (15, 17) upon expansion or contraction of the
member (54).
