(54) | Electro-therapeutic device |
(57) In an electro-therapeutic device, a pair of electrodes which are placed in contact
with skin are disposed in a handheld housing. The electrodes are coupled to an electronic
circuit which can detect a decrease in resistance in the skin, thereby locating a
low-resistance point such as an acupuncture point or biologically active trigger point.
The electronic circuit also includes a pulse generator which applies a stimulus to
the electrodes and stimulates the low-resistance point. |
