(57) Es werden Gießpulver zum Stranggießen von Stahl beschrieben, die aus einem bei Gießtemperatur aufschmelzbarem anorganischem oxidischem Material und einem im wesentlichen kohlenstoffhaltigem Material bestehen, wobei das kohlenstoffhaltige Material Aktivkohle mit einer spezifischen Oberfläche nach BET von 800 bis 1200 m2/g ist.
