Process for producing finely divided cellulose particles |
(57) Finely divided cellulose particles of uniform size can be produced in high yield
by applying pressure and heat to cellulose fibers in a hydrous condition and then
discharging them explosively into a receiver tank at atmospheric pressure. The size
of the finely divided cellulose particles can be controlled by varying the conditions
under which pressure and heat are applied to the cellulose fibers.
