(57) A fabric softening composition, which may be in aqueous liquid form, contains a cationic
softener, lanolin and an alkoxylated nonionic material such as an ethoxylated fatty
alcohol, acid, ester, amine or amide which is included to maintain product performance
while enabling the level of lanolin to be reduced.
