(54) Guiding device in a copying apparatus


(57) A copying paper guiding device comprising a lower guide plate (204) and an upper guide plate (206) located opposite to each other. The lower guide plate (204) has provided therein laterally in spaced apart relationship a plurality of rising pieces (238) rising from the upper side of its main flat portion (208) and extending in the direction of movement of a copying paper sheet. The upper guide plate (206) has provided therein laterally in spaced-apart relationship a plurality of hanging pieces (240) hanging from the lower side of its main flat portion (228) and extending in said direction of paper movement. Openings (244) are formed on the main flat portion (228) of the upper guide plate (206). The upper edges of the rising pieces co-operate with the lower edges of the hanging pieces to define a path of movement for the copying paper.
