(57) A security bag (10) comprises front and rear panels (12, 13) in which the front panel
(12) is extended to provide a flap (27) adjacent an opening of the bag (10) and the
rear panel (13) is provided with a lip (20) also adjacent the opening which unites
with the rear panel (13) by means of adhesive (21). The flap (27) is provided with
adhesive (22) and a line of weakening (17). When the flap (27) is folded onto the
rear panel (13) and is united therewith by the adhesive (22), the flap (27) also unites
with the lip (20) by means of the adhesive (22). Any attempt to open the bag (10)
by lifting the flap (27) from the rear panel (13) results in severing of the material
of the flap (27) along the line of weakening (17).
