(54) Cassette for accommodating electrically conductive film


(57) A cassette for recording an image on a film which has an electrically conductive layer which is wound on a reel 180 rotatably supported within a cassette casing 320 includes a contact piece 212 for grounding which is mounted on a reel body. A clamp 204 is engaged with the reel body so as to press the film against the contact piece. The contact piece slide-contacts a reel retainer 310 secured to the cassette casing, thereby allowing the film to be electrically connected to the reel retainer through the contact piece. The reel retainer is connected to a contact member 316 which projects to the outside of the cassette casing, and this contact member is connected to a contact 352 or 354 provided on an apparatus into which the cassette is loaded, thereby effecting grounding.
